Francisco, our driver was so knowledge and really a nice guy. They know the region because they were raised around there. The weather is so much like hot California during the summer. I have the most admiration for the tradition and science they explain to you in making wine. A must do when visiting Poru Portugal.

We loved our Douro winery/tasting and lunch tour. It's such a beautiful area of Portugal and our guide Andreia was so knowledgeable. I can't say enough about how well we were treated, especially after I took a tumble at one of the wineries and found out later that it was a bad sprain with a ligament tear. After the tour was complete, Andreia drove us to the hospital, returned later and took us to a medical supply store, then took us back to our hotel. This was so far above and beyond and so appreciated. The tour was amazing and Andreia was the best!

I was visiting Portugal with my extended family, and our group had six adults and two children aged 18 months and 3 years old. We had a great tour of the Douro Valley via Cooltour. We visited two beautiful "quintas", ate lunch, and took a boat tour. Both tastings had non-alcoholic snacks for the kids, which helped keep them engaged.
Our guide, Paulo, did a great job guiding us and he knew a lot about the the making of port, the history of the region, and Portuguese culture. His van was comfortable and he drove safely. We also really enjoyed getting to know him over the course of the day, and had great conversations. Thank you!

Our tour guide was funny and engaging. Had great knowledge of the Duoro Valley and the port wine products.
Lunch was at a lovely local Resturant and the food was good.
Would highly recommend this tour.

We had a good time with our tour guide Jose. He was very knowledgeable of the region and wines. However, please know the company supplying the tour may alter the tour! First, we selected this tour because it was a small group tour (8 max on the winery tour and 16 max on Douro River cruise) and they would pick us up at our Hotel! The night before the cruise they notified us we needed to meet at a pick up point, and would not pick us up at our hotel! Secondly when we went to get on the boat, they had put us on a riverboat that held over 100 people, so the small boat cruise (max 16) was not what we received.

This tour was amazing. Before the tour the staff were very responsive in addressing our queries. On the day our guide Paulo was very knowledgeable and fun. The two wine estates we visited were very beautiful and the tasting experience was excellent. Highly recommend to everyone.

The tour was amazing! Andrea was an excellent guide and provided great commentary along the way to the Valley. My rating is 4 only because she had no mic and only those in the passenger seat and the row behind could hear the commentary; those of us in the last 2 rows could not hear what she said, even when she tried to talk louder for us to hear. Otherwise, the stops were great, the River cruise was amazing, and OMG the lunch was delicious and hearty! Thank you for a fun filled day.
