The guide (the son of the usual guide) made sure to keep mentioning how the tourists ruin everything, but yet he makes a living from the tourism sector. He was not very enthusiastic. The tour was good, beautiful scenery and many stops along the way that allows to see most of the island.

The Guide did not speak much English throughout most of the tour and did not explain much on the way only when we stopped at a site.

An amazing time with Diogo, a small group tour (7) to see Sete Cidades & Logos do Fogo. We had many stops and plenty of photo opportunities. The views were stunning with plenty of background information. The pineapple plantation was really interesting. The Severn Cities beautiful. Would highly recommend the tour - more stops than stated a great day out. Thanks so much Diogo - all the very best to you!

The guide, Gonzalo? Or Gonzalvo. Fantastic. Very knowledgeable and flexible. We mentioned water falls and he added two in our program. Safe driver and thoughtful in accommodating a wide range of clients. And, he brings a positive and charming personality. But, please repair the right side door window…warmed up a bit too much!! :)

Our tour guide was amazing. We could not visit a few of the sites due to weather, but he fully made up for it by taking us to so many other places around Sao Miguel - all worth visiting!

Excellent tour! We really lucked out getting Ricardo Ponte for our tour guide. He knows the area inside out and shared his knowledge of the local flora and fauna throughout our tour. Ricardo gave us a truly enjoyable experience including taking us to some off the beaten track areas we never would have visited otherwise. We are also very grateful for his patience and unhurried attitude with these two slower moving individuals...Thank you Ricardo!!!

João was an excellent tour guide and showed us around for the whole day. Even his son came along which was a nice touch! He was kind, funny, and quickly adapted and offered us some alternate destinations when the clouds and fog moved in while visiting Sete Cidades.
