Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Ombra del Leone, Sestiere San Marco 1364, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy
We will pass trough the Gran Canal terrace of Ca Giustinian, one of the oldest Palace overlooking the Canal Grande.
Duration: 5 minutes
Pass By: Chiesa di San Moise, Salizzada S. Moise San Marco 2058, 30173 Venice Italy
Close to San Marco Square, in front of St Moise (Moses) Church and the Gondola station, the guide will introduce you in the elegant and romantic world of the Gondolas.
Pass By: Teatro La Fenice, Campo San Fantin San Marco 1965, 30124 Venice Italy
Once one of 7 major theatres in the city, today the Fenice is Venice’s one and only opera house. It is surely a jewel among European theatres, and began to shine from the beginning, as the best composers of the age wrote and performed their operas here, among which Bellini, Donizetti and Rossini. But it was Giuseppe Verdi who is most attached to the Fenice and to Venetian memory.
Pass By: Canal Grande, 30100 Venice Italy
The most beautiful road in the world”, this is how the Grand Canal is known as. If you look around, what you will see is almost exactly what a nobleman in the 18th century might have looked upon, and before him a Renaissance courtesan and before him a merchant in the Middle Ages.
Pass By: Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, Campo de la Salute Dorsoduro 1, 30123 Venice Italy
Here, as you come into the Grand Canal you admire the church of the Madonna della Salute.
The first thing that strikes a viewer is how imposing the church is, strategically placed at the entrance of the Grand Canal looking out onto the rest of the city in every direction, thanks to its circular shape.
Today, ever 21 November the city celebrates the Madonna della Salute in memory of the end of the plague
Pass By: Punta della Dogana, Sestiere Dorsoduro 2, 30123 Venice Italy
Punta della Dogana separates the Grand Canal from the Giudecca Canal. For its strategic location it was the house of the Custom and of the Salt Warehouses. During the fifteenth century, the Sea Customs House, which had previously been near the Arsenale, was transferred to the western point of Dorsoduro borough.
Pass By: Isola San Giorgio Maggiore, 30133 Venice Italy
You will have a view of the Island of san Giorgio Maggiore, with its beautiful Renaissance Church built by Palladio in the Renaissance and the belltower resembling the bigger one in St Mark’s Square. The island was once known as the Island of Cypress Trees before it became an important Benedectine monastery.
Pass By: Giardini Reali, Riva degli Schiavoni, 30122 Venice Italy
At the end you will enjoy a wonderful overview of Saint Mark’s Square. This is a spot which painters from all over the world have tried to capture in its uniqueness, but we can only recommend that you sit back and take it all in.

Nice to be on gondola but no conversation and it is a large group they split up into multiple boats. Good history before ride.

I can't understand how this service is considered the best gondola tour in Venice. The walking tour through the city before the gondola ride was completely pointless. The guide provided numerous inaccurate facts. For instance, he claimed that gondoliers train for 10 years, while in reality, it takes only 6-12 months. There were many such incorrect statements throughout the tour.
The actual gondola ride was even worse. Our gondolier spent the entire trip scrolling through Instagram, and the other gondoliers were doing the same. To top it off, none of them wore the traditional hats, which are supposed to be part of the experience. Overall, the experience was utterly disappointing. I do not recommend using this service.

The weather wasbt so good but the tour was lovely. Due to the weather, we were unable to go on the Grande Canal so a bit criwded on the side canals but couldnt be helped. Should have been a virtual tour at the end but couldn't see the guide as we stepped off the gondola so left.

The guides were very friendly and informative to and from the Gondola and on the Gondola. We like the back canals more than the Grand canal. Sights, charm, and singing heard was fun. Our Gondola guide was attentive and helpful with questions. We visit in early May before there were hundreds of tourists, perfect time and sunny. The Al experience afterwards was an unexpected treat and very interesting

This was a nice experience. There was only one other couple in the gondola and they were very nice. The gondolier was pleasant and the scenery beautiful. I feel like this was an excellent value for the money.

This was an excellent find as we only had a couple of days in Venice and wanted a Gondola ride. It was well organised and although sharing the ride with a few others was so picturesque. We had a short walk through the streets of Venice and our tour guide provided some history as we walked towards the river where our Gondola was awaiting us. In addition to this we had a little surprise after our ride which was not at all expected therefore this experience was well worth the money

Meeting point easy to find, nice friendly welcome and Riccardo was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable enjoyed our short walking tour.
20 min gondola ride along grand canal and back waterways. Not a great amount to see but did give a different perspective on the city.

Gondola ride was fine, wished the gondolier was interactive. I thought the commentary would be throughout the ride but it was during the walk to the gondolas and then at the very end when you’re almost back to your drop off nothing in between.

Very nice gondola ride, with interesting architecture along the route. Was a little shorter journey than I thought it would be, but still recommended highly.
