Great tour. Bruno was fantastic. Heaps of knowledge. Weather was ordinary for the Ghent part but then cleared. Can't control the weather. So much to see in both places. Bruges add on boat trip is worth it.

The guide (Josephine) was walking so fast it all felt rushed.
Even though she had some interesting facts about the cities, she was more interested to tell us about her own life (where she grew up, where she was riding her bike when she was a kid, what kind of food she likes…based on all the info i gathered i could make a full dating app profile).
In Ghent we didnt have time to see the main attraction, the altar piece, due to the lack of time, which was unfortunate. She didnt tell us about the main painters of Ghent at all, which are very famous.
In Brugges, she was speading so fast , by the time i stopped to take 1-2 pics she was teleported a few feet away.
The boat ride, contained same if not more info that what she told us when we roamed the city on foot. And the ride went along all the spots we went together with the guide. she shouldve told us so we can have more free time to visit what we want of the city and not be stuck with her for 45 mins when the boat explained the same things.
We were a bus full of English speakers, and the only French speaker could understand English, but the guide insisted to have the tour in 2 languages. At some point she was even forgetting to switch to English and she was continuing her chat with the French speaking person. Even though I understand French, it has been very frustrating for my friend who hasn’t practiced French since high-school.

The tour was ok but not our tour guide. His name was stephane. He was misunderstanding the tour with classroom! He was insisting to give so many unuseful information! Even in the vus he was not letting the jet lag people to sleep! In the city also he was giving very little free time, not even enough for lunch! He was in hurry to walk around and talk that he was not even pay attention if people are still with him! The worse part was my husband get sick and he was moving very fast that he didn't have a chance to go to toilet! So we were forced to leave tour and when we told him we are leaving, be just said good luck!! Bo offer to help or anything!
