After some leisure time for lunch our tour embarks on an adventure to explore the world renown islands of Murano and Burano. Our guide will whisk you through the islands most charming streets on your way to witness the age-old craft of Lace making and Glass Blowing. This tour is the perfect combo of Venetian History, Local Craftmanship and Sightseeing!

1. Basilica di San Marco
We provide the skip the line tickets, so walk right past the long queue and go right on inside. During November through March, St. Mark’s Basilica does not offer skip the line entry because lines are generally non-existent.
2. Doge's Palace
As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.
3. Venice
Time to Board your Gondola! After your visit to St Marks and the Doges Palace conclude, it’s time to partake in that quintessential Venice activity. That’s right, step right up to your gondola boat! Left in the care of a trusted gondolier, enjoy the beauty of Venice from the water. Fun fact: in the Venetian dialect, “gondolier” translates into “rowing master”.
4. Murano
Dive into the age old craft of Glass Blowing on one of Venice's most famous islands! Accompanied by your guide you will enjoy a glass blowing demonstration learning all the ins and outs of this old Italian craft
5. Burano
Make your way through Burano's cosy streets on Venice's most colourful islands - known to be a true insta-paradise. Here we head to a lace making workshop where you'll witness a lace making demonstration by locals with an impeccable eye for detail!

It was very easy to find the group and the tour was well organized and efficient. Julia was very knowledgeable and full of interesting facts. Great value for the money. The one downside is there isn’t much time to spend on the island of murano. You could skip the lace presentation but the island of burano is fantastic!

This was the 1st event of our European tour. Our guide, Kristina, made it easy and convenient for us tp adopt because she was very articulate and clear with her instructions, very considerate, and patient. She was very knowledgeable about the historic backdrop of each place we visited and patiently answered all our questions. Check the weather forecast for rain and come prepared with your rain jacket or umbrella.

Barbara was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Flavia was also lovely and was our guide to Murano and Burano. Prices for Murano at the factory were ridiculous though. $250 for one glass?? I don’t think so…

Very nice so much to see in a day the place and the church were amazing the 2 islands were beautiful the glass factory was great and the lace store was amazing we would recommend the tour to everyone to take

The visit to the Murano Glass factory was well worthwhile. The Master who demonstrated the glassblowing was amazing. He made a rearing horse in just over a minute and made it look so easy.
