This cooking class and market tour are our most popular offering. Together, the tour and the class take approximately four hours. The tour starts with accompanying our chefs to the world famous La Boqueria market, located nearby. During this 'behind the scenes' guided tour, you will meet many vendors, some of whom have been there for generations. You will learn about locally grown products and participate in the selection of ingredients that will be used later in the cooking class. Upon returning to our kitchen, you will begin preparing the four course menu. All our classes are designed for every skill level and are taught by professionally trained bilingual chefs. The classes provide a fun, social, hands-on experience, where you will be participating in the preparation of the various dishes under the thoughtful guidance of our chef instructors. Unlimited wines are included. All our menus can be adapted to accommodate any food restriction you may have, vegan included.

Took a group of teens to the Amazing Juan, who taught us how to prepare traditional Spanish dishes. The kids did all the work. They had a blast, is adults had a blast. If you travel to Barcelona, this needs to be on your itinerary.

We spend our day cooking with the magazine Juan. He was engaging, inclusive, and most amazing to everyone including my two children (16 & 13). He made the day so fun. Our lunch was so delicious and our time in his kitchen was so memorable. Thank you.

Juan was a charming and informative teacher. We walked in the market and then back to the kitchen for a great experience learning to cook and eating some wonderful traditional Spanish food.

Such a fun way to learn about Spanish and Catalan food culture. The market tour was insightful and Juan’s easygoing, authentic nature in the kitchen made you feel right at home. With his tips and tricks we created the most delicious dishes, from tortilla de patatas to paella! Juan was simply amazing. The market tour set up an incredible culinary experience for our familia (5 of us). We spent 8 days in Barcelona and were able to see many of the traditional sites. This was one of the highlights.

What an outstanding experience and great way to make family memories, learn recipes and be escorted through a complex spectacular market! We learned nuances of Spanish omelette, gazpacho, paella, Catalan crème! Everything was delicious. The paella we made together was better than the one we had at Mana 75! Juan is cheerful and funny and showed us a few tips in the kitchen we will remember forever. We highly recommend this experience!
