The spas and the hot mud bats were amazing. Our skin felt so soft and supple. Also, the plunge cold water was great .

I had a great time there. The staff was very friendly and the venue was not very crowded. I went in the end of the afternoon and could have the sunset there, which had a very nice and relaxing vibe. Before going there I’ve read some comments about the time with mid not being enough. It is true that they only let you stay in the mud part for 20 minutes due to safety reasons, but for me it was time enough, and afterwards I got to go to the thermal waters that were also really nice. It was a nice ending to my time in Rotorua and left me feeling relaxed and recharged!

DO NOT GO!!!!! It has been almost 4 weeks since I went - followed ALL of the rules properly and I’m still tarnishing my necklace! After it being professionally cleaned 3x. It took about 4 bottles of cloudy ammonia and vinegar to get the smell out of my clothes and sheets (that didn’t even go to Rotorua). They have refused to give me the testing samples to see if the mud and water is up to health standards and if it’s still making my necklace tarnish then it’s still in my skin almost a month later!!!! It CANNOT be good for you! Also their general manager Rayner does not care - he gave me a refund and then stop replying to me! I still have no way of knowing how to extract the mud/sulpher from my skin!!!!

Our tour guide T was humorous and told stories of each pools . I learnt a lot about this historic and natural wonder of this town . The mud bath to end the trip made it even more memorable . Remember to book free shuttle from Rotorua

Walk around the thermal springs , read up on facts about how they occur . And then spend 20 mins in the mud pools, which are good for you, and finally wash it off and sit in the thermal spa .. Relax and chill

This is a must do for visitors to New Zealand. A great mix of Maori history, geothermal tour, carving and bathing in the Mud/Spa pools. The tour guide was the perfect mix of knowledge and entertainment. We intended to go for 90 minutes and left 4 hours later. This has been a real highlight of our North Island trip.
