The temples were amazing, the tea field was fantastic, I was able to buy a diverse amount of Tea, if you are traveling solo is 100% worth it, the convertible on the Japan roads feel amazing. I enjoyed the views heading to Uji and seeing the tall Japanese red cedars. I enjoyed the temples but the highlight to me was the tea fields and the beautiful views in the road.

Although it was raining, we had a wonderful and comfortable tour. Daiki did a great job and showed us some beautiful shrines and a stunning view point of the tea fields. He took into account that my mother is not so good at walking and we could do the tour in our own speed, which was nice. I highly recommend!

We had a great time on our 8-9 hour adventure with Daiki. He took us to many great temples and showed us around the Kyoto/Nara/Osaka region. Was definitely an “adventure” and we covered a lot of miles. It was great chatting with him and learning more about Japanese cultures and customs from a local who seems very dedicated to constantly educating himself and learning more about all the many things Japan has to offer. Definitely recommend if you want a customized adventure where you sit back and relax and let him take you where the wind blows. Super fun and memorable :)

Daiki gave us a wonderful, off the beaten path tour. My mom and I have both been to Japan many times, and still managed to see things neither of us have ever seen. My favorite was the temple with the heart shaped window-- it was so empty! No tourists around. The green tea fields were beautiful too. This truly is a one-of-a-kind, unique tour. Thanks, Daiki! Hope to see you again.

Daiki was a great guide! He picked us up on time in a vehicle that was comfortable for 3 American sized men (and one female). We never would've experienced most of the things we saw without this tour as most of it required a car to get to. He even included a bonus shrine or two. Highly recommend. My favorite tour of the trip.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed our countryside trip to see the green tea fields and try the authentic Uji roasted tea and some matcha sweets. We had a side trip to visit the Byodoin museum that showcase Buddist temple treasures. We also stopped to see Shojuin temple and a place of prayer and meditation with Inome (heart-shaped) window and painted flower ceiling and a small, exquisite zen garden. Last, we had a wonderful shabu shabu wagyu dinner at Kinnobuta Matsuiyamateten. Thank you very much to our wonderful guide, Daiki for a memorable countryside experience.

Our tour with Daiki was wonderful. He is energetic and knowledgeable and took us to out of the way places we would have never seen with a group. Daiki had his own larger van so the 3 of us had plenty of room. We went to a local Hot Pot restaurant at the end of your tour and it was great. Thank you Daiki!

Daiki goes above and beyond with this tour. We thoroughly enjoyed being taken into the beautifully, simple life of Japanese green tea growers. We were able to visit a beautiful shrine in the forest where historically, Ninjas lived and trained.

What a great tour! Our guide Daiki drove us far from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto and Osaka into the beautiful countryside. Picture-perfect tea fields, small local temples and tasty matcha were just the beginning of the tour. Daiki drove us on beautiful mountain roads with bamboo and cedar groves back to the civilization. We stopped for dinner at a unique Ramen restaurant so we could wait for nightfall. After dark, we visited Mt. Shigi and the temple with a thousand lanterns that was absolutely magical, and we had the place to ourselves. We felt like we we hanging out with an old friend all day, thank you Daiki. Highly recommended!

We had a really lovely day with Daiki. We really just wanted to get away from the crowds as it was peak Sakura season. Daiki managed to find us beautiful places that had beautiful views of the cherry blossoms but without many other people. He also managed to get us from our hotel in Kyoto to our hotel in Osaka without incident.
Highly recommend this as an option for transportation between the two cities with seeing sites along the way that are not accessible by train.
