I had an amazing experience with Visit Mogadishu. Their team was incredibly helpful in securing my entry permits and work permits. The process was smooth and efficient, and they kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing permits and visas in Somalia!

Incredible experience. Ali was the greatest guide ever. Kind, organized and super efficient. Mogadishu is definitively not the bad city depicted by the media, but it is a vibrant city full of kind people and wondeful places to visit, and is rising and developing very fast. Lido beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life, and thank you Ali for bringing me there to swim and for the boat ride. I'll never forget this fantastic experience! Marco

I'm Kim Vila, a catalan solo world traveler, been in over 140 countries. I must deeply appreciate the subterfuge that Omar, head of the "Visit Mogadishu" tourism company, and his partner Ali provided me when I arrived at the Mogadishu airport without an invitation letter (which is provided by independent companies like theirs, and a handful of others throughout the country). The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs explains on its website that those of us who have a Spanish passport only need to pay €60 and they give us a "visa on arrival"... Well, when I arrived I had problems with the immigration police and they almost kicked me out of the country. Luckily they were there to help me, and even give me a very special price, almost a gift - with which they have not earned any benefit from me - for which I am eternally grateful. They gave me a bargain hotel, meals, armored car, driver, 2 police officers armed with Ak-47, and Ali was with me at all times, ensuring my safety in this country devastated by the war it maintains with the Al Shabbab militia. , an affiliate of Al Qaeda. My experience has been extraordinary in every corner of Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, and we even left the capital towards the southern coast, in the coastal fishing village of Jazeera. An unforgettable experience, and largely thanks to the professionalism of this agency "Visit Mogadishu", rigorous in terms of security and also comfort, offering clean, safe and quality hotels, as well as restaurants and cafes in the city. I certainly feel lucky to have met you! Thanks a lot!! Una experiència memorable ;)

Great tour. Everything is well taken care of from the moment I passed through customs. Ali is an excellent and professional tour guide. Safety is well covered with bulletproof car and 2 police officers providing escort. Thanks Visit Mogadishu!

I spent 3 days in Mogadishu with some friends,accompagned by Omar and Ali professional, friendly,always ready to give us all the explanations and garantee our safety. We visited the old city with the ruins of its palaces ,the markets, the remains of the wonderful Cathedral, with its still decorated facade. The fish market with its strong smells ,the Jazeera beach, the Triumphal Arch dedicated to Umberto. We met women wrapped in black and colored veils,men who speak italian language, people looked at us with curiosity. There is always chaotic traffic. Before the war this city was wonderful, rich and full of splendid buildings. It was a strong and important experience,a great emotion.

Very good experience with Visit Mogadishu during two day visit. While initially a bit nervous about visiting this place, once I was met by Mohamed on arrival, it became clear that security was taken seriously, making me feel much more at ease. The information exchange and booking process with Omar went very smooth, and Visit Mogadishu correcty lived up to their commitments. Even though I booked as a solo traveler, I ended up with another couple during the excursions, which was fine. If ever I go back to Somalia, I would not hesitate to book with Visit Mogadishu again.

I very much enjoyed my trip to Mogadishu with Visit Mogadishu. Omar, Ali, and Mohammed were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and honest. They put my safety first and have a great track record of caring for and providing experiences to people visiting Somalia. They went above and beyond in multiple ways. If you're going to Mogadishu they are the team to contact. They are real, flexible, and accessible. Highly, highly recommend.

Really loved how knowledgeable and flexible the Visit Mogadishu team was! I had some unique requests and things that I wanted to see/do, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Really enjoyed the trip, and it was one of my most memorable experiences. The team keeps safety a priority, and didn’t have any worries while I was there; only fun and great conversations.
