The whole experience was lovely! The crew and staff, the ship, the harbor and bay tour, the food, the ambiance and ending with a dance party. Perfect date night.

First I’d like to mention that my review is mainly based on food. After all, this is a dinner cruise.
For the appetizer, we had a big chunk of lettuce with ranch at the bottom and some tiny pieces of bacon. It would be nice if you could add a little more to that recipe because it is really plain and doesn’t even reach the level of a salad.
For the main plate, they only gave us two options; surf and turf and some vegetarian option. We chose surf and turf which is some steak and shrimp. It is obvious that the majority of people are going to choose a plate of steak over a vegetarian, so it would be VERY nice if they gave us the option of choosing our degree of doneness. The steak was very well done and a little dry, it was really chewy but the flavor was ok.
The dessert was nice, we had chocolate cake and it was delicious, can’t complain.
Overall I give it a 5.5/10 on the food, which is concerning because, again, this is a dinner cruise; the food should be one of the main things they have to focus on.
However, the cruise is great and the views are amazing, the DJ and the crew were really nice and the dining area was elegant. The music the DJ chose was not my favorite but it’s still a good touch.
If you are hungry and want to have some good food, I do not recommend this cruise.
If you want to have a nice experience, get some good pictures, meet nice people, and have a good time, I recommend this cruise.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on the dinner cruise. I love the view the food and also love how the Dj announced our wedding anniversary.

Great time, very nice staff all around. From booking to the dinner staff. Price a little high, but going to blame that on the current economic state.

We booked this dinner cruise about 4 months in advance to our trip. Unfortunately, the chef decided to change the menu which didn't please us but I guess it happens. We were notified of the changes via phone in advance so it wasn't a surprise but not our choice of food. The night views were stunning. Sergio our waiter was excellent. The many course of our meal was "okay" nothing to write home about. There was a nice touch when entering the ship of a glass of champagne. Being we are of the older generation I would have preferred entertainment with a comedian or local band rather than a dance floor and DJ. However, that is just our preference. Something that all can enjoy.

Excellent experience. Full bar service, great food, and unbeatable views from the deck. Not too crowded and friendly service. Well worth the money and had us wondering why we hadn’t done this sooner!

The condition of the ship Spirit of San Diego is poor. Was shocked when we boarded. It needs to be retired or majorly renovated.
