What a great experience. Meeting the men who actually served on the ship and could tell stories and really hope people understand how difficult it is to be deployed to guard our country.

When you come aboard, you will feel the energy that once abound on this vessel. The history, excitement, intensity, and the lives of the men and women who once made this floating city a military might is still up to this day quite electrifying.
I met several volunteers who were officers, sailors, and pilots of the USS Midway. All of them were incredibly knowledgeable , helpful, approachable, and very entertaining. I would highly recommend a tour of the USS Midway!

A must see. I was traveling with 4 grandchildren ages 21 to 9. And ALL of them loved the Midway experience. Fun, educational, moving. Just an incredible day. Kids did the simulators. They loved being able to get in the cockpits of some of the airplanes. The flight deck is amazing. You won’t be disappointed, Highly recommend.

We spent 5 hours on the Midway Museum tour and it was time well spent. The staff is excellent, the tour is well organized and you can wander about on your own with a handheld radio that is included in the admission price. Highly recommend this attraction.

The things I did in San Diego With my son was great. The seal ride, the I fly and the uss midway is a most thing you have to do when your there.
This app is great with activities and I used this app when I was in Puerto Rico last yr

It's hard to say anything new about this amazing place. Great for pics; history buffs; military buffs; and so on. This museum is really well run. Go early is best for almost all aspects of this museum. Skip the line was not needed if you go early. If noon or later, then this could be very beneficial to save you time. I would budget 2-3 hours for this tour, not 90-100 minutes as some suggest.

Great experience! Highly recommend. Nice the electronic info recording device is free with ticket. Great to meet vets stationed throughout out the ship eager to share their stories. Thank you for your service to our country and the visitors. Thanks for invoking the memory her name sake battle of Midway so tastefully. The ship inspires the American spirit of valor and duty.

Parking was non existent on the Saturday of Memorial weekend. Drive thru each lot, for almost an hour searching. Finall found a spot 4 blocks away on the opposite side of the street. Fortunately the parking meter in that stretch was inoperable so that was free. Ideal for families with kids. Lots of docents who were on the ships or retired pilots who could talk about their individual aircraft. The 15 minute movie was good. The food offerings overpriced and mediocre, Mc Donald’s is better.

Midway exceeded our expectations in every way. We were in SD for 7 days and we all agreed, this was the highlight of the trip. Impressive and highly recommended!
