The guide was quite good and knowledgeable. It was great to have the headphones to hear here. My wife especially enjoyed the hall of mirrors.

Anatole was a wonderful tour guide! He was polite, responsive, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He reached out prior to the tour to introduce himself and provided detailed instructions on our meeting place. We enjoyed his commentary and the sights highlighted in the tour. My 15 year old son was interested and engaged throughout the experience. I highly recommend this tour of the Louvre.

In June 2024 we booked a castle tour with GetYourGuide:
- the GetYourGuide staff are very friendly
- finding the meeting point is easy (note the email from GetYourGuide, as the meeting point is not directly at the castle)
- you have to wait a bit at the entrance even with the tour: about a 10-minute walk to the castle and about a 10-15-minute wait at the entrance
- the tour was in English - fast-talking: in our opinion, you can also visit the castle without a guide
- additional entrance fees have to be paid for the gardens and Marie Antoinette's residence - in our opinion, the gardens are not worth it
- in comparison, we like the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles better because they are better prepared
Conclusion: a tour of the castle with your own short preparation is sufficient.

Versailles Palace is vast and you would get lost without a tour guide. We had Seirgo as our tour guide. He was excellent explaining every little detail. We had great experience.

Versailles palace is a must. Beautiful and impressive history.
Unfortunately our guide was not very good. It took a very long time to get the tour started and she didn’t have any insightful information other than just pointing at things throughout the tour. The head seats were awful and she was really hard to understand. Wouldn’t recommend this tour. Better to go by yourself and just read the plaques.

The instructions on the meeting point and start were clear. The skip the queue was ok. I'm not sure how long is the wait for the normal queue, but we still had to wait around 20 min anyway. The tour was good. Insightful. The tour guide was very nice and pleasant. There are large crowds and queues to enter any room or any part of the complex. So keep that in mind. The tour guide rushed through some parts. She never asked if we had any questions. And it is hard to ask anything with all the noise from other tour groups anyway. I'm not sure if the price would justify the 90-minute tour.
