We opted for this tour instead of the cruise's outrageously expensive tour, and we were very pleased we made this decision! The tour bus picked us up as soon as we got off the ship. The coach bus was clean with plenty of space and we stopped halfway at a gas station for a chance to use the bathrooms. When we arrived in Berlin, we had our private tour in a van with Walid who worked So Hard to show us as much as he possibly could in the time allotted. The weather did not cooperate as it rained that day, but Walid made sure we had our raincoats, he helped us find a specific food for lunch that we wanted to try (Döner Kebab), and stayed very patient and upbeat even when we hit unexpected traffic. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned an extraordinary amount about Berlin. He delivered us on time back to the coach bus, and we arrived back to the cruise port in plenty of time. Berlin is a big and busy city; this was definitely the best way to see as much as we could in one day and Walid was excellent.

Seeing the icons of Berlin led by Daniel who has an extensive knowledge of the history of this remarkable city. A long unavoidable drive from the port to the city it well worth the long day.

What a lovely trip from the ship Sky Princess it was seamless from booking in UK to picking us up in Warnemunde to Berlin it was a long drive
Our guide Anne was excellent and Olaf our driver was very entertaining. Anne was probably one of the best guides that we have had. She gave history from an East German perspective and as a young Federalist German. She really made this trip worthwhile with the smooth driving of Olaf. Well worth the money and compared to the price charged by the cruise company it was a bargain.

So enjoyed having a guide who grew up in East Germany. She knew Berlin like the back of her hand. So full of info during the walking tour and the riding portion of the tour. Great tour. Long ride to and from Berlin but worth it.

Overall good tour but just be prepared if coming off a cruise to spend 6 hours on a bus. There is no WiFi or charging so bring your own entertainment and charging abilities for your phone. The tour was good with a great guide but it was very rushed at each stop. The half way stop on the return was for restrooms only but it would have been nice to have a stop that offered refreshments.

It was a 12 hour tour. We were back in 11 hours. The bus was 6 hours in travel time no problem. But after that we were off the bus for a 40 minute lunch, 15 minute bathroom break and maybe another 30minutes in walking around. Basically a bus ride. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Preston was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. This is a very quick "survey" of the sites in Berlin. You'll see the major high points, but you will have very little time to digest them. For a cruise ship thats 2.5 hours from the city and you only have one day in port, it is perfect.

Long ride from the cruise port but driver was excellent. The tour itself was informative, Preston was very knowledgeable just wish there was more time for lunch and to buy souvenirs. But saw lots and would recommend.

Matt was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Pickup at dock in Warnemunde was on time outside terminal building. Bus ride was smooth. Saw quite a bit in 6 hours.

I have to say that of all the excursions we took that week this was by far the best. Not sure if you can request a specific guide but if so, make sure you ask for Ryan. He was so knowledgable about all things Germany and took us on a journey thru history that was very engaging, fun and informative. My only complaint was that things felt rushed at times but there is not a lot they can go about it if you want to see everything. You will not be disappointed, fantastic Country and a phenomenal tour!!! Thanks Ryan, you were the best!!!
