The entire trip was amazing. I read reviews about the roads being rough. The road is smooth/new, it's hilly because the road goes through the mountains. The experience in general was great. 00pm

OMG!!! It was so amazing!!! The islands were quaint! The red snapper was tasty! Now the drive there, we saw 2 sloths. The Guna community did an epic job introducing us to some of their lifestyle!

Sadly it was a bad experience. I got picked up about 90 minutes late from the hotel by the driver. Poor communication and poor coordination. The coordinator or the driver never called me to let me know they were running late. I had to reach out to Viator 3 times to ask if the driver was coming to pick us up. Suggestion is keep your customers inform if the driver is running late because of car trouble or whatever excuse there is.

This was great, weather wasn’t cooperating in the morning but our tour guide waited and we had the greatest time. New road so no more bumps you can still get dizzy but a smoother experience according to the people who did it a month ago or before. Worth the dizziness beautiful warm waters

Out of 5 of us I was the only one to receive a text in the morning letting us know to be down at 5:10 AM, driver arrived at 5:30 and only was taking me. I convinced him to take another one of my friends and the other 3 waited at our hotel for their driver. He came for them at 6:30 AM, so much later than we were originally told. He then had to rush and drive very unsafely to get my friends there on time. The part that made the trip not enjoyable was when we arrived at the port we were told to get out of our cars in the pouring rain and wait for the rain to stop so we would go to the islands. Why were we made to wait outside getting soaked for an hour and 1/2. Once the rain stopped we were able to go to the islands but it was overcast and all of our things were soaked the entire day. Islands were pretty but nothing out of the ordinary or breathtakingly beautiful. There was a major lack of communication among drivers and local guides and us participants. I would not go again or recommend to a friend.

It’s a beautiful place. Worth the money and the time to get there. Keep in mind that the islands are administrated by indigenous people so don’t expect a lot of comfort, but that’s the magic.
