Experience this unforgettable guided tour through the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes in one of the most innovative attractions in the province of Malaga. Discover nature in a different way from 300 meters above the Guadalhorce River.
El Caminito del Rey in El Chorro is located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, between the municipalities of Álora and Ardales. Enjoy a guided tour of an exciting footbridge suspended over the pits of the Sierra Huma, which is 3 kilometers long and less than 10 meters wide during some sections of the route.
During the tour you can see remains of the old path, which was originally created as a means of passage between the Salto del Chorro and the Salto del Gaitanejo for the workers in the Hidroeléctrica del Chorro Society.
Experience a pure adrenaline rush from up to 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River while you simultaneously enjoy the nature of one of the largest protected natural spaces in the province of Malaga.

Unforgettable place, breathtaking sceneries, impossible to stop taking photos that nevertheless cannot contain than a portion of such a majestic environment. The path is well set and the path is definitely an easy stroll for everyone - apart from those who suffer from vertigo.
It was really up to my expectations!

If you are in Andalusia you cannot miss the Caminito Del Rey. The route is suitable for everyone and enjoys views and panoramas that will leave you speechless...the photos absolutely do not convey what you will see in person

The parking sign was incorrect.
We lost a lot of time figuring out where to park.
So we arrived late.
We therefore did not have a guide since we arrived late, as we were told.
I hope you are stuffing yourself with our money, for our part, your service is non-existent. We will not advise you to anyone except the devil.

We had a wonderful experience going on a hike to "Caminito del Rey" with Rafa. We booked a small group day trip on Getyourguide for this hike with Discovering Spain. When the day came, it was just the two of us who reserved it for that day. Even though it was just our party, discovering Spain went ahead with the tour and gave us a large van with a personal guide, Rafa. It was really nice of them to keep it going and be professional about it. It was almost a private trip for us and we couldn't ask for a better guide. We had a short hike to the trailhead with our guide and once we reached the trailhead, we were given the tickets and were on our way with the official guide of the place. Even though it was insanely hot, we still enjoyed the hike with gorgeous views. The excitement of walking halfway up a mountain was incredible! We were back in Seville by 5 pm and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday!

- In the description was described that the tour starts from Malaga city. That was the reason that we booked this tour. When we get the details, we see that this is a lie. The tour starts from another point near caminito del rey.
- We go to this point, but its an empty parkinglot. There is no-one there from the organisation.
- We call them, after 3 times someone pickups and they tell us to go to the entry point of caminito del rey. There is no-one there of this organisation.
This is just a reseller of official caminito del rey tickets. Avoid at all cost.
- The tour was with 42 persons and not with 10 like it says in the description.
- The tour doesnt take 7hours but 2-3hours.
- We have to pay for our own transport back after the walk.
- Since we didnt book via the official office, we had to walk an extra 1km.
Story short: avoid at all cost. Book directly with official caminito del rey office. The walk was great. You get the same for 10 euros via the official channel.

Tour was good but instructions to get ticket were confusing and no ticket given and no bus ticket back so we had to pay €5 for two tickets

The poorest ‘supposed’ organized tours of all of my Viator experiences. Directions are unclear, we are not met by one of the Company’s guide, we do not have to obtain an official ticket, it is not maximum of 10 people, we are not picked up in Malaga as stated on their website, it does not last 7 hours as stated on their website and we have to pay for our own transportation back to the North Access site. The actual guided tour was amazing as it was provided by an official Caminito tour guide but the company is opportunistic and their support is horrible. Stay away from this group. This was the worst Viator experience ever.

This was a fantastic experience and not to be missed. We booked through Hotel Garganta (friends we’re staying at the hotel) and luckily for us had the best guide ever - entertaining and informative - Claudio. The walkway was amazing and completely breathtaking in places. Claudio, our guide had just the right balance of humour and information - we didn’t need earphones like other groups and yet all information was conveyed clearly and nearly always in shady areas. The whole experience was very well organised and an unforgettable day out.

Guided tour is very well organised, good use of technology that really works. Knowledgeable enthusiastic guides. Good overview of history, engineering, geology, flora and fauna. Slightly intrepid but very safe. Been twice recently both trips excellent, well worth the travel and entry fee.
