This tour was just great. Very knowledgeable guide and driver (I think Aldo) shared many interesting stories with us while driving. We managed to explore a few different beautiful sites and had a long lunch break at the Geysir area (a bit too long for me but enough time if you’d like to grab some food there).

I booked 2 group same tour , but the local tour said I should do in one booking for 16 guests, but the Viator don’t let me to do that, that’s reason I had to do 2 booking and we’re separated on 2 bus. I hope the the company pay attention on this issue, sometimes we do have a big family to travel with.

Snaesa was an amazing tour guide. She got us to all of the destinations in a safe and timely manner. She gave great commentary the whole trip. Highly recommend!

Sights were amazing. Guide ruined the experience for us. Speakers were not working on the bus couldn’t hear a word the guide was saying. The guide spent almost the entire tour talking on his cellphone rather than making it enjoyable for the people on the bus. Seemed like he didn’t know how to work the controls on the bus because the air did not work so the whole bus was uncomfortable for the 11 hours. Worst tour guide ever he seemed totally disinterested in the tour and just did the bare minimum. Saw all the gorgeous sights but a very long day with a driver that couldn’t have cared less about the passengers comfort or enjoyment. The order of the day was changed so the blue lagoon stop was first so had to spend the day wet. Would have preferred to end off there after a long day. Super disappointed especially since it costs so much a little more effort in showing us a good time during the 11 hours would have been nice.

Viator and Bus Travel Iceland need to adjust their “small group” definition. In mainland Europe, I was on Viator small group tours of no more than 8 people. This was 19 people JAMMED in a small bus. I was all the way in the back. LOUD ROAD NOISE.
The back speakers didn’t work so I couldn’t hear what the driver was saying.
I wasn’t going to spend 11 hours on a bus listening to road noise and jammed in with other people.
I left at the first stop and took a taxi back to Reykjavik.

The sites and the guide were amazing. However, we almost missed the tour because according to Viator the tour started at 10:00, but in actuality we were supposed to meet the group between 9:00 and 9:30. Be sure you confirm with the tour company!!!

We waited over 45 minutes for pickup at the cruise terminal.
Not enough toilet stops.
At Gullfoss driver/guide Grunrun or Goodrun said there wasn't time for her to make a toilet stop after viewing the waterfall. So I used my viewing time to walk up several flights of stairs from lower parking to upper visitor center where toilets were located. But then later she drove others to toilets. If she had kept her word I would have enjoyed the falls and not wasted my time and energy climbing all those stairs. We were on a small group bus with no emergency toilet.

We had a wonderful day seeing some beautiful nature and awesome sights. Our guide Tom was great. He delivered both the history of, and fun facts about, Iceland in an entertaining way. My favourite spot was the geysir, or maybe the blue lagoon. Can’t really choose, it was a really fun day.

Unfortunately it was a windy drizzly rainy day when we did our tour. Tour driver Addi was great and very informative. He kept the day running smoothly and on time. We enjoyed the waterfall, crater and tectonic plates. Geyser was a little disappointing but the tourist shopping over the road was great. Blue Lagoon was a waste of money on the day we went as so windy couldn’t see anything, no idea where the bar was. We only lasted 20 minutes, if that, in the water then went inside to get our included drinks. We would have preferred an option to opt out due to bad weather and get a refund of our money. Blue Lagoon was the most disappointing part of this whole trip to Iceland.
