You will NOT be disappointed. Our host is so knowledgeable, kind and most of all fun. This was the highlight of our trip. You get to see the farm, experience local food and have a lot of fun, cooking, eating and dancing. DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE. Anna thinks of everything. Just show up and get ready to have an unforgettable event! It is for young, old, families, couples. By the end of the night you are all friends and family.

We had the best time at this cooking class. First, I would recommend you arrange a taxi service directly with Basiliko Tavern. We did so, and our driver was excellent and able to navigate the twists and turns that led us to and from Basiliko. Anna was a wonderful host, and everything was pretty much conducted outdoors. We had a great group of fellow class participants, mostly from Florida and Texas. We represented Chicago. We did a lot of picking veggies, prepping veggies and potatoes and putting together various dishes, including stuffed vegetables, tzatziki and rice pilaf. While the food was cooking, we took a pleasant walk around the property. Upon our return, we were seated at another long table (luckily not the same table where we made a complete mess with our culinary skills or lack thereof), complete with such an abundance of food. The table was spread with what we had made, plus many other offerings made by Anna's mom and others. After dinner, we danced traditional Greek dances, broke plates and said our goodbyes to a great group of people. This tour should be included on everyone's list when touring Naxos. During our dinner conversation, we learned that we were staying at a beautiful apartment in Naxos owned by Gianni--Anna's second cousin! We loved our stay at the Naxos Icon Premiere Residence 3. It is a small world, and we were so happy that we went to the cooking class at Basiliko and stayed where we did in Naxos--our favorite island on our trip.

Simply OUTSTANDING. Anna was a gracious host and the meal we cooked was great. . The family farm property is old and rustic. It is a breathtaking property. We loved the “orange” wine and the Greek dancing after lunch. Even broke a few plates.
The highlight of our Greek Odyssey. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful time and would go back again.
Don’t hesitate to book, well worth the price. It will be a memory of a lifetime for our family.

Ana, our hostess, was absolutely wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about Naxos history and made the entire event so memorable and fun! It was fun picking our fresh vegetables from her garden then preparing 3 traditional Greek dishes. The meal was delicious with plenty of variety for all. We chose the dinner option and enjoyed the cooler temps as we dined, learned Greek dances and even broke plates. Opa! Even our teenagers had a blast. I highly recommend mixing up the beach days with this cooking event in the late afternoon/early evening.

This was one of the highlights of our trip in not only Naxos, but throughout our time in the Greek islands. The food, company, and sharing a meal with people across the globe is something to remember!

This was the exact experience we wanted and so much more! Anna was a delight, genuinely fun and kind. We had the best time with a table of strangers making food and having laughs. We enjoyed the farm tour and picking the vegetables, preparing them and then making the dinner. It all ended with a family style meal and Greek dancing. We felt like family, a great experience!

This was such a wonderful experience. We started the evening with a drink of Kitron, then proceeded to the garden to pick vegetables and herbs for our meal and learn about the different vegetables and fruits grown in the garden. We worked in teams and prepared three different Greek dishes. While the food was cooking Anna took us for a walk around the village and shared the history of the area. We came back from the walk and the food was all laid out on the table and ready to enjoy our dinner. They had also prepared additional dishes to serve along with the food we made. Everything was delicious. After dinner we learned Greek dances and ended the evening dancing and drinking. Anna and her family where such wonderful hosts, the evening is something we will always remember about our trip to Greece. Was a great experience. We reached out to Anna and she arranged the transportation for us to get to and from our hotel, this was so helpful.

A fantastic and fun experience. Our guide / instructor was so friendly and fun (Anna). It was so cool being on a 5th generation farm up in the hills of Naxos. The food was fantastic and a lot of fun to make. They even give you all the recipes as well. Overall great experience

We had such a wonderful time on this excursion! Our charming host, Anna, was so welcoming and fun! She interacted with eveyone and led us through the fun experience of picking vegetable from the garden, cooking, and hiking around the property, which had ruins from the 1700's. After our delicious meal, Anna led us in dancing and smashing plates in the celebratory Greek way!
