This is a unique experience, no doubt. The equipment is showing age but the staff were excellent. Our guide, Donald was fantastic, lively. The ferry captain, Francis, was personable, friendly and capable. And the sub pilot, Alton had a great sense of humor; definitely a skilled skipper. It's worth it.

We had so much fun on this excursion! We booked through Carnival Cruises and it was totally worth it! When you get to the port, they meet you and the group walks a little way to the boat that takes you out to the sub in the water. It’s about a 15 minute boat ride. The sub is surprisingly roomy and shouldn’t bother too many claustrophobic folks. Aruba has some beautiful, vivid fish and lovely reefs. The crew was super friendly and informative. We went down 129 feet and you could just start to feel the pressure change around 90 feet but it was manageable. Both sides of the sub got to see the reef and the shipwrecks. There were cards with pictures of the types of fish we might see. Thank you Eric, Alvaro, Ichsan, Francis and Oscar for such a lovely experience!

Lots of fun. But the amount of marine life was a bit disappointing. Crew was great. Getting onto the submarine was a bit tricky but doable.

We saw amazing coral formations, a lot of different fish, sunken ships and a sea turtle. Went down gradually to a depth of 140’. The captain or moderator point out different highlights as we descended and ascended.
