Very interesting and fun guided tour. Our guide, Brano, was great! He is very cultured and funny. A visit off the beaten track that allows you to capture another aspect of Bratislava. I recommend 100%.

We had a great time with Brano at Post-communist tour! It was so instructive and funny at the same time with plenty of interesting stories and places of Bratislava’s communist past. A must tour in Bratislava!

Really enjoyed this tour, we learnt a lot about the 20th and 21st Century history of Slovakia, illustrated by many sights and photos and our guide's personal experience of growing up in Bratislava. The visit to the market building and the cheese sample was a particular highlight!

Great tour of the post-communist sights of Bratislava! We really appreciated the flexibility of Authentic Slovakia and our guide Maros who graciously agreed to meet earlier-than expected for our tour because we had to catch a train later. He provided some really interesting stories of what it was like in Bratislava during the cold war era. We highly recommend this experience!!

A excellent, truly immersive experience. The guides bring history to life and flavor it with personal stories and humor. You learn something new and important, no matter whether you have experienced communist times or not.

Excellent tour , the guide was very knowledgeable, interesting and humorous and obviously enjoyed his job. There were even a few unexpected added extras during the tour which pleased us. The timing was perfect and as arranged .

5 stars seems too few! We had an absolutely amazing time with "Brad" as our tour guide and learned so much about Bratislava. He answered all of our questions, drove us around safely in a cool car, and even bought us some Slovakian cheese at the old market. I've done tours all over the world and this is truly one of the best I've ever experienced! DO NOT miss this in Bratislava!

Our guide Brian (Bratislava) was awsome. He took us to various historic places and told us stories with the aid of origonal pictures from the communist era . He worked hard to make it a very personalized tour with his humor and insights. He also had us try some snacks and soda unique to the area. Between everything, it really brought Bratislava to life. We later visited Old town historic area, but this was so much better. Thanks again!!!

One might think that Bratislava has not a lot to offer for a tourist, but Peter and his company proved it wrong for us. Peter showed us places we would never find on our own, he shared a lot of interesting stories about the city, the country and its history. Another great thing is that the tour is customizable so we could pick whatever was more interesting for us. The weather was not super good, raining, but it was one of the best tour experiences we had. We also visited a cozy local pub with local dishes and Peter brought some home made slivovica to warm myself. Highly recommended! When I visit the country again I would definitely go with Peter on another tour.
