Our 3-day Isle of Skye, The Highlands & Loch Ness Tour led by Andrew T. was simply wonderful. We saw much of the beauty of Scotland in the Isle of Skye, Glencoe, Fort Augustus, and much much more. Andrew T. shared much of the rich history of Scotland, weaving his own personal stories, making us feel closer to the country and its culture. His humor and kindness were cherished over the 3 days we spent with him, and on top of that, his driving was excellent. He went above and beyond to cater to everyone on the tour, making sure we stopped to feed some hairy coos, and giving recommendations on things to try, see, or do in the places we visited. If you book a tour with Timberbush, make your guide aware of anything specific you’d like to see or do, and they will do their best to accommodate. Timberbush was also excellent in arranging accommodations for us in Portree, putting us in the center of town so we could easily walk everywhere. Sometimes it felt like we didn’t have quite enough time to see everything at our own leisure, but it was not an issue to us, as we were still able to see so much in just 3 days. I highly recommend Timberbush if you’re looking for tours in Scotland.

There were so many incredibly beautiful stops on this tour and Portree was a charming place to use as home base. Mark was an amazing guide who shared history lessons, Scottish folktales, personal stories, and the occasional sing-along. We also felt very safe with his driving despite the crazy highland roads.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Jada with Timberbush is an excellent guide. She is a consummate storyteller and a fountain of knowledge regarding Scotland. She is an excellent driver and she was quick to offer help or advice on activities on and off the tour. Her sunny personality helped the group relate to each other and the whole dynamic was very fun! We would definitely plan on using them and specifically Jada again if or when we return to Scotland!

What a fantastic trip and an exceptionally skilled guide. Euan had an incredible amount of knowledge about most things and told facts and fantastic stories throughout the trip. Very useful and we feel we have really got to know Scotland's history. We really hope that we have the opportunity to go on more trips with Timberbush and with Euan as a guide😊

Very different experience. Although it rained almost every day, the tour guide tried his best to arrange it and almost perfectly avoided the rain. The tour guide was telling historical stories all the way, which was very interesting. Great tour guide, great views, great experience, thank you!

I have been on many tours in the past but Eddie Ding has been the best tour guide I have had to date! Eddie kept us all entertained with his dark humor and story telling. Timberbush tours had arranged a nice hotel for our stay and also a spacious new tour bus to travel on. Isle of Skye was very beautiful and definitely recommend to visit!

We absolutely adored every minute of this tour. Our guide Steven was the BEST! I have no idea how he managed to stay so positive and cheery for three days but he kept us all entertained, informed and safe. Thank you Steven! It is a jam packed tour. Even as two active young women we were definitely tired at the end of each day. The pacing is great, you see and do so much but get well timed breaks on the bus or at a stop to catch your breath. There are a lot of photo stops that can start to feel repetitive (i.e. Kilt Rock) but you're never anywhere too long. For example we opted out of the additional tour of Eilean Donan castle but had great time drinking tea and exploring the area instead. We had considered driving around Skye ourselves and now I'm glad we didn't. Between the narrow winding roads, surprise roadside cattle and plenty of confused tourists there were many moments that easily could have been dangerous. On top of that we got to see places we wouldn't have on our own and learned a ton about the history and significance of them. This was an incredible tour that gave us a real appreciation for Scotland. It's safe to say we'll be returning because of it!
