The boat tour to the port watching Dolphins was a fun experience added to our exploration of the Gibraltar rock and natural reserve. A Gibraltar rock cable car priority boarding ticket was included in this reservation , but when we got there, we stayed in the line for a long time with everyone else.

NO dolphins were sighted....which was not the reason for this low star review. (They offered us a free trip on another day, but due to a limited vacation, we could not go on another day.). Our main complaint was that NO BOAT CREW SPOKE TO US after boarding....no one talked about the area of Gibraltar, the dolphin population, why we may or may not see dolphins, the area--NOTHING. And Gibraltar has SO MUCH ocean history and information---you can see Africa, for goodness sake!!! Speak about that? Interact with passengers?? Describe Gibraltar coastline? Gibraltar history could fill a million books--speak about that? This was a boat ride. That's it.

My first ever one star review🙁. We did not see dolphins on this Dolphin Adventure. We were offered tickets for another day, which we cannot use because we’re only here for two days…..,but a refund is not really the issue as it’s beyond their control to make dolphins appear. No one SPOKE to us during the trip beyond a cursory demonstration of life jackets. There was no info given about the area, dolphins or other sea life—nothing. Nothing. No passenger interaction or info. It would have been nice if we got any information about Gibraltar, the historic waterways here, dolphin life in the area—literally anything. If you don’t talk to passengers, offer education about the area, serve drinks…..then all of your eggs are in one basket- in the case the dolphin basket, and they didn’t show. Very disappointing.
