Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Amman - Petra: 3 hours driving from Amman

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Depart to the south toward the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra that is considered one of the wonders of the world. A city 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman that was carved in stone more than 2000 years ago in order to dominate the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Visit its towns, damns, and water channels and enjoy a walk along the narrow siq, a path which is the main entrance to the city. The first thing you will see is the Khazneh, which was believed to be a tomp for one of the Nabatean Kings. You will also see other monuments such as The Monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice. In the afternoon you will move towards Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon, where the movie Lawrence of Arabia was filmed and lately The Martian. Spend the night at Wadi Rum and move next day toward the Dead Sea (Night Stay and activity at Wadi Rum is based on your selected tour option).

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Wadi Rum is a uniquely-shaped massive mountain that rose among the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish and golden colors. Then, you will move to the Dead which is one of the most incredible places in the world. The Dead Sea speaks for itself: there are no living fish. It is by far one of Jordan's most impressive and spectacular places to visit. Its calm, shining water glowing from the scorching sun above, is known for the concentration of salt and minerals which makes it a therapeutic as well as a unique swimming experience not to be missed. Jaafar was our guide and believe me. It was the best tour and tour guide I've ever had. I had a lot of tours and Jaafar topped all the guides I have ever had. He was polite, funny and punctual. He had very good Ideas and made the best trip for us. The Time was used very wisely. He had very good break times and told us what to keep in mind to fully enjoy every stop in Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea and we had even time for red sea!!!! Believe me every penny invested in this tour, was fully deserved. The night at the Bedouin Camp was wonderful. I got the deluxe Version and it was an amazing and beautiful Camp. The Food was soo delicious!!! The people were so nice. I'm gonna do this tour next year again!!

A great trip with an amazing driver and guide Qutaibeh. He was very knowledgeable about the area and a good driver. Petra was more than we expected- he hat a wonderful experience so well preserved, clean and beautiful. We walked about 10 kms & came back through the Siq on a golf buggy. It’s about a 1.5 km treck uphill. Wadi Rum & staying at The Majic Nights Bedouin Camp was a great experience, so peaceful & beautiful. All the food we had was also fabulous at every stop. There 6 of us on the trip all English speaking. Qutaibeh was very kind and patient. I would definitely recommend this trip. Also Jordanians are really nice people.

If you are wondering whether or not you should book this tour, wonder no further- definitely do it! This is probably one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life and It was worth every single penny. My cousin and I had booked the group tour, however because no one else had booked, it became a private tour. Unfortunately, due to the aggression in the region, tourism in Jordan has been significantly affected. Our driver Odai was telling us how him and other people in the tourism industry are impacted- they are only at about 30% capacity and are unfortunately facing significant income loss due to this. He wanted us to feel reassured that Jordan is very safe and that there is no direct impact in their country. And I agree, I did not feel like I was in harms way at any point during this trip. Jordanians are very kind and hospitable people who will go out of their way to help you. Odai was very kind, courteous and professional. He was very knowledgeable about Islamic history and the history of Jordan. He is a great conversationalist and although driving times between sites were 3-4 hours it did not seem like a long time at all. We were first picked up from our hotel around seven in the morning and drove to Petra. We arrived there around 10 or 11 AM and stayed till about 4 PM. After which time, he drove us to the beduin camp the desert, which honestly was my favorite part. Wadi Rum is an incredible place and there’s nowhere else like it on earth to my knowledge. The camps were equipped with everything you could possibly need, our tent had AC and private bathroom, and honestly, it was the better than any hotel that we stayed at during our trip. We were provided delicious dinner of maqluba and a traditional Jordanian breakfast the morning that we left. After checking out of the camp at 8 AM the next day, we proceeded to go on the wadi rum jeep tour, which took about two hours. We had a fun time, exploring the rock formations and Sandy parts of the desert. I was completely captivated by the beauty of Wadi Rum and wish that we had stayed longer. After we were done, he drove us to the Holiday Inn dead Sea resort where we were able to float for about two hours. Lunch was not included, and we had to pay about $40 USD for the buffet and facilities. We were done around 5 PM, after which point he took us to a nearby factory for Dead Sea Beauty products if that’s something you’re interested in. The drive back to Amman was about one hour. After this tour, I was Incredibly happy that I had such a great time and made a new friend in Jordan. I would give more than five stars in this review if I could. I definitely plan on coming back and staying longer next time. Again if there’s any hesitation about being safe in Jordan, I want to reassure people that I felt very safe and well taken care of. I hope that this review was helpful and that it will help make the decision if you are sitting on the fence about whether or not to book this tour.

Mr Ja'far "See You Tomorrow" made this trip a blast. He was very talkative and a fun tour guide. The longer drives were filled with laughter and riddles. He realöy showed us how bad we were at solving riddles! Petra was beautiful, wadi rum was stunning, and we even added an hour and a half at red sea to the itinerary before the dead sea stop. Everything went as well as it could. Thank you Ja'far! I will promise to work harder on getting better on riddles now. See you tomorrow!

Amman, an interesting stop over. Petra, stunning, one of the great wonders of the world and an amazing insight this civilisation. It’s quite a trek up and back. Travel light but hiking footwear, water, sunscreen, highly recommended. Don’t be the twit in flip flops. We stayed at little Petra and hiked from the back to front, better than retracing your steps, quieter so less touristy for the first half of the journey. Wadi Rum - spectacular experience as the only guests in a small camp. Sunset camel ride was a the highlight of the stay and contends for the memory of a lifetime. Enjoyed camp boiled tea while the camel herder updated his IG 😆 Drove south towards Aqaba and up to the Dead Sea - not a stunning experience. The driver left us at the border crossing for a Jerusalem side trip before flying back from Amman. While there is no extensive public transport, there is quite a good private bus system worth using if you are happy to jump in with the crowd.

What an incredible experience for a reasonable price. Our driver Ahmed Habibi was so accommodating and helpful, giving us tidbits of information along the drives. He drove us comfortably, bought us fruits and water, and gave tips on how to travel within each of the attractions. The lamb at the beduoin camp was phenomenal! All the views were sensational. The Dead Sea Resort (not included in price but reasonable at 30 JOD for swim and lunch buffet) was also a beautiful experience. Can't express my thanks enough to Ahmed for treating us on our first time in Jordan.

Easily the best tour I have ever been on! Not only was Petra, Dead Sea and Wadi Rum amazing, but the highlight was absolutely the guide, Mr Jafar, the riddle master. Top grade tour guide. I'd do the tour again just to hang out with him some more. Make sure to remind him that Tom beat all of his riddles. See you tomorrow!
