2-Hour Guided Segway Tour of Chicago

The Segway experience was ran by a guy called Captain Mike, a guy who knows his stuff. We visited all the sights including Soldier field’s stadium, the Buckingham fountain, the planetarium to name a few. The weather was good and the pace was just right. Well worth the money.

Really enjoyed Captain Segway! It was my first time on a Segway and was given some practice before taking off for our tour. It was easy to pick up and fun to explore Chicago in a different way. Only six were in our group and felt safe the entire time. Also appreciated that Captain Segway knew fun facts about each site we rode around.

Mike was a great tour guide and Segway trainer. I wouldn’t say the Segway is difficult to operate, but it is undoubtedly counterintuitive to any vehicle I’ve operated before. Mike’s orientation made me very comfortable operating the machine and, most importantly, safe. Beyond that, Mike is very knowledgeable about Chicago and has many entertaining stories about the area and its inhabitants. Additionally, Mike took fantastic photos of my daughter and me upon request. Mike made the tour educational, safe, and fun. But the fun didn’t end when the tour ended. Upon reviewing the pictures Mike took, we found a handful of Mike's selfies, which had us laughing hysterically.

We very much enjoyed our Segway tour with Mike! He kept us safe, instructed us well on the Segway and gave us fabulous tidbits about Chicago. We recommend a tour with Mike!

Mike was patient with our two teens, answered their questions, and waited until they were comfortable before heading off on tour. He made sure we were safe crossing roads by putting himself in front of the cars, stopping them so we could move safely between sidewalks. If you are wary of not thinking you can learn a Segway, don't be. By the end of the tour, you will be a pro. I'm so thankful to have seen everything without having to walk it, and to see the smiles on my teens was priceless. Thanks Mr. Mike! Well worth every penny.

Captain Segway was a great guide and clearly loves his city! He was able to point out interesting sites along the way and built in plenty of time for pictures and stops. Plus segways are fun!

Amazing experience! We did this on a whim and it turned out to be the highlight of our weekend trip to the city! So much fun with beautiful sights, history of the city, and laughs cruising around with Captain Segway who was hilarious and definitely knew his stuff. Thank you!
