Towering over a new canal extension which links the Forth & Clyde Canal to the North Sea, The Kelpies are the result of a unique collaboration between the partners and Glasgow-based artist Andy Scott. I was not very fond of a bossy military tone of the guide. And ABBA remix on highlands tour truly blew the brains out. But apart from than the tour was gretat. We managed to see, admire and experience historical places, beautiful landscapes and unforgetable memories of Scotland. Great option if you are not willing to plan and explore all by yourself.

It was a great tour, in 3 days we saw a lot. The driver was a great driver and also was our guide. His name was Rod, be liked to intimidate everyone and would stand and be very aggressive with people. He thought it was funny to crank up the music and make noises with his mic. He did have great knowledge but also liked to ramble on about nothing. He should stick to driving and let someone else be the guide. If it was for him I would say the tour was 10. Avoid Rod

Great trip through the Highlands! Our Tour Guide Rod was the best! He was half teacher of all things Scottish (with a story for each one) and half father bringing the whole bunch of 35 of us together as a family not just a bus tour group. Lotta fun!

Such an amazing trip! Rod was a great tour guide with tons of great info and amazing jokes! He really tried to make the trip enjoyable for all and was so friendly!! Took the time to get to know a lot of us. He did a great job at allowing us to become somewhat of a bus “family” for the three days we were together, always trying to make everyone feel included! Left with some great friendships starting!!! Had an absolute blast. Such beauty in the highlands and could not recommend this tour more! Stops were spaced out really well and took a lot of time and stress out of trying to plan things.

What an incredible three days with Brian Smith, our Scottish leader kilt and all , and his co pilot Lynn. Each day was filled to over flowing with fun, laughter, discoveries of the Scottish history and Scotlands beautiful landscape. Brian’s Colourful stories delivered with a deep Scottish Brrr brought the countries “ days gone by “ to life with dynamic clarity and historical cleverness. Over three days we travelled deep into the Highlands , gazed at locs ,glens, castles, a train passing over Finnagans aqueduct, very awesome Hairy Coos , and the fairy magic of Skye. We searched for Nessy on a boat cruise, tasted the Highlands famous Scotch, enjoyed the hospitality of Inverness and stepped into ancient times as we touched standing stones and pondered the clever engineering of the cairns. Our hearts were marching with the Scott’s on Calloden Battle field, such a tremendously emotional and sad bit of history. Music of the pipers blended with a bit of Great Big Sea and other Grand Scot tunes filled our bus cabin and brought our journey into a closer touch with the Scottish folk. There was so much more packed in these very full days. It’s a very grand cross country over view of a country that has a big story to tell. A must do tour with Brian and The Hairy Coo.

I was disappointed in the overall experience. Scotland for me holds a special place in my heart and I had hoped that the guide with his stories would add color to the beautiful vista of the isle of skye. But instead all we got for this price was a drive and a hurried set of instructions to be back in the pick up place for driving to the next spot

We were looking forward to this tour from the moment we booked it months ago. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our driver/tour guide, Fraser, was remarkable! He went above and beyond throughout the entire trip. If you can, request him…you will not be disappointed! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!!
