Your tour will begin with either hotel pick-up from select hotels in Las Vegas or upon meeting the tour group in Boulder City. The historic town of Boulder City was built to house the workers of the Hoover Dam back in the 1930’s.

Stop At: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, 10 Lakeshore Rd, NV 89005
When the Hoover Dam was built, this created Lake Mead, now the largest man-made lake in the United States.

Pass By: Hoover Dam Access Road, Boulder City, NV 89109
You will travel down the Lower Portal Road, the original road used by the construction workers of the Hoover Dam to board your raft. You’ll enjoy 3-hours exploring 12-miles of history, beauty and wonder as you glide through the Black Canyon National Water Trail. Experience the waterfalls, hot springs and other geological wonders. This trip is fully narrated by knowledgeable guides who offer incredible history of the Hoover Dam and the Back Canyon National Water trail.
Stop At: Willow Beach, Willow Beach, Arizona
A refreshing stop along the way at a side beach will give you the opportunity to stretch your legs, swim or play in the cool clear water of the Colorado River. Lunch is included in a take-home, insulated souvenir bag.

Your tour will end at Willow Beach Marina in the scenic Mohave desert of Arizona, where you will board your shuttle back to the starting point. Don't forget your camera!

The scenery… the boat ride was very comfy…BOB —our boat captain was very knowledgeable and friendly…the water was cool…. Hottt down in the canyon… bring your sunscreen… very!!! Enjoyable … worth every penny…

We had a great time on the Colorado River. Russ was our guide and he was great. Made the trip informative giving us history and pointing out wildlife but did it in a fun way. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone it’s a look from a different perspective.

This raft trip was a lot of fun with amazing views. Captain Ron told us a lot of stories and the history about the river Dam and bridges.

The tour was very informative. We were up close with the Hoover Dam from the bottom of the dam , it showed the dam from a different perspective .
Very nice leisurely ride down the river. The shuttle driver and boat captain were both very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

It was a beautiful scenic tour. Do prepare to get a little wet due to splashing of waves. The captain was very informative. The different people we met on this trip were very friendly and from all over the world

This the best way to experience the dam, get a great visual of the conditions the workers experienced building it while also capturing some awesome photos along the way. If you're luck some of the wildlife will drop by for a photo or two.

An absolute must do when visiting Vegas ! Our drivers Angela and Victor were knowledgeable and very safe drivers.Russel the captain was funny and has vast knowledge of the river and the dam .Lunch was perfect and we even walked away with a lunch cooler.i ordered a vegetarian wrap the day before and they made sure I got it . The entire experience was on time and well planned. It was very safe and enjoyable. We saw bighorn sheep drinking from the river.

Horrible experience with Viator. All their emails say arrival time 10:00 am when in fact it’s 9:30 am so we missed the tour and then Viator told us we could reschedule to the next day and then 30 minutes later said no and refused to refund our money. Total rip-off and I am now disputing the charges. Ended up booking the tour directly with the raft company. That’s the only way to do this. Stay away completely from Viator.
