We were part of a group of 8 and this felt about right. Our guide Rigmor was friendly and we tried some lovely food, we probably wouldn’t have tried, without doing the tour but now feel more confident and knowledgable about the local food.

A beautiful town and fantastic view everywere nice old houses, lot of islands etc. A great tour together with an excellent guide who told us both history and also could talk about the food we've had and experienced. Some of us added that one glas of white wine could have made the difference. Tanks for a joyful walk.

We booked the 3 hour walking food tour during a one day stop in Alesund on a Norwegian Fjord cruise. On a blustery and rainy day our guide made the tour one of the major highlights of the 7 day cruise. We ended up as the only two on top Ed tour so had bespoke personal service. The variety of culinary food stops was fantastic from street food at Struen to beautiful fish soup in the Hotel Brosundet, finishing with coffee and cake at Trankokiriet Antikk. We learnt so much about Alesund’s history from our guide. This is a ‘must do’ for foodies on any stop in Alesund. A huge Takk to all involved in the tour😊.

Wow what a fun tour! Our guide was amazing, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Due to the post Easter holidays a couple of the usual tour locations weren't available but she found last minute substitutions that we found fabulous. And of the usual locations, each one was full of history and yumminess. The final dessert location was really special. My family loved this tour and we highly recommend it to get a taste of Alesund.

Our food tour with Nora was one of the highlights of our 10 day Norway trip!!! Loved the truly authentic restaurant choices - the food at every stop was A-mazing!! Admittedly would not have tried many of the choice on our own, but would reorder everything for sure! And helped us continue to feel comfortable with our dinning choices the rest of the trip!! Appreciated learning the family history/story behind each restaurant. An impressively strong commitment to the Alesund culture and community!! Communication after booking was excellent! Nora was a blast!! A must add to your Alesund activities!! Would definitely do again!!!
