Let us show you around the waters of Juneau Alaska! We will pick you up in our complimentary bus (30 mins each way) and take you to our custom 40' catamaran with individual seating for 20 passengers. Once aboard our vessel our experienced naturalist and captain will take you out for 2.25 hours to show you the thriving marine wildlife in SE Alaska. We have designed our vessels for this area with spacious walk around decks so you can view whales in a more intimate setting. Join us for an experience that is a step above the rest.

Downtown Juneau-Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tramway - Instructions: We do not have a doc rep. You will check in with the bus driver 15 minutes before the start time of your tour. We will meet you on the southern side of the Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tram; the port office side. Arrive no later than your tour start time. Stay on the curb until the driver approaches our meeting area.
Please stay clear of the large crowd under the trees as that is an unaffiliated company's meeting area.
We drive a white bus that says Juneau Whale Tours-JWT on the side in blue lettering. Our driver will be wearing a BRIGHT YELLOW HI-VIS VEST with our JWT logo on the front and holding a large JWT WHALE SHAPED SIGN.
We will return you to the same location at the end of your time with us.
READ ME IF YOU ARE IN PORT AT AJ DOCK!!!! AJ dock is 1 MILE AWAY from the Mount Roberts Goldbelt Tram. The city of Juneau provides frequent buses that will transport you to & from the Mt Roberts Goldbelt Tram (downtown) for a small fee. PLEASE PLAN FOR THIS ADDITIONAL STEP!!! ***WE DO NOT PICK UP FROM AJ.***
Auke Bay/Statter Harbor - Instructions: 11497 Auke Bay Harbor Road Juneau, AK 99801. The meeting time on this end of town is 20 mins after your tour's start time. Watch for the JWT bus pulling into Statter Harbor at approximately the same time. We arrive and exit on the side of the marina with the grey building that has a "V" shaped roof. (Not the Harbor Office building.)
*If you are planning on meeting at Statter Harbor please text your name, date and tour time; otherwise there might be a search party looking for you at the downtown pick up location.

Fantastic crew- both TJ and Alan! Loved the small group size too. We were able to see everything and not be run over or crowded by other aggressive tourists. Would definitely go with them again. 100% recommend!

First, this boat was awesome…12 passengers, outside viewing all around the boat. TJ and Allen, our captain and naturalist, did a great job taking us to see lots of whales, sea lions and harbor seals. TJ made a special stop in front of Mendenhall Glazier for a photo op. They were on time both ways and we had no issue making our cruise ship departure. This is a family owned and operated business. Support local businesses!

Best boat on the water and great crew. Seats were high and comfy and we all could walk around the entire boat on the outside. And yes we saw lots of whales. We had a blast!

This tour was amazing! The boat is new and very nice. Our captain, TJ and naturalist, Libby were so fun and knowledgeable. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience! Book with them! You won't be disappointed!

Diane, TJ, and Allen were the best staff possible. Treated us like family and we had so much fun.. Unlimited wildlife seen with mutiple humpbacks, harbor seals, eagles - you name it - we saw it! We would never choise anyone else. Thanks

This tour was wonderful! The Captain, Naturalist, and Driver were so friendly and didn’t waste any time getting us into the action. We saw 2 humpback whales and then spent the rest of our time with 3 groups of Orcas!!
The boat is wonderful and provides everyone with a great view and room outside without jostling for position. I loved the small group atmosphere, especially when seeing other boats with people standing 4 deep trying to see the Orcas.

This is the best well tour we have ever been on and we’ve been on half a dozen. The entire team was knowledgeable and entertaining. The day provided us with the trifecta of sunshine, a pod of orcas and a mother and calf Humpback whales. The ship was comfortable and was a small group allowing for much viewing.

Lily and TJ knew the names of the whales and taught us how to identify them. TJ took us to the whales, and had some history of a particular whale. We saw sea lions, harbor seals, bald eagles—it was amazing. The man driving the boat told us facts about Juneau, super interactive tour. Loved everything about it. Being able to stand outside and see the whale that suddenly popped up not very far from us…..priceless. Locally owned….highly recommend!!!
