Day 1: DAY 1: Cusco (3,300 m.a.) - Cloud Forest (1,700 m.a.l.) - Pilcopata Inn (600 m.a.s.
Stop At: Pilcopata, F29M+62F, Cusco 08007, Peru
We will leave Cusco very early in the morning in one of our vehicles. We will cross interesting valleys between the mountains of the Andes and picturesque rural communities. We will visit the pre-Incan tombs of the Lupaca culture and then we will stop in Paucartambo, a beautiful colonial city, and visit the interesting museum of the town. On the way, we will have lunch in the cloud forest. We will continue our descent through the cloud forest, an area rich in endemic species, such as the spectacled bear and the rooster of the rock, the Peruvian national bird that performs a ritual of unique courtship. We can also see orchids, bromeliads, ferns, etc. We will continue to observe the spectacular nature throughout our trip until we reach our hostel, Pilcopata Inn, where we will spend our first night.

Day 2: DAY 2:PILCOPATA LODGE – AMAZON HARPY LODGE - MACHUWASI LAGOON (450 m.a.l.)
Stop At: Atalaya, Atalaya, Ucayali Region
We will have breakfast very early and then we will take a walk, during which we will be able to observe the fauna of the forest, like monkeys and birds. Then, we will visit a coca plantation and a wildlife rescue center. After this, we will travel to Puerto Atalaya, located along the banks of the Alto Madre de Dios River at 500 meters above sea level. There we will begin our descent by boat to observe the enormous diversity of bird species, such as herons, vultures, cormorants, etc. until we arrive at Amazon Manu Lodge. There, we will bathe in the river and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Lake Machuwasi, where we will explore rafts to observe birds, such as the prehistoric hoatzin and, with luck, other animals such as monkeys and capybaras We will spend the night in the lodge.

Day 3: DAY 3 AMAZON HARPY LODGE –PARROTS CLAY LICK - HIKING IN THE FOREST – ZIP LINE- (450 m.a.s.)
Stop At: Machuhuassy Lagoon, 17700, Peru
Very early in the morning, we will board our boat and head to the macaw clay lick, a wall along the riverbank where different species of parrots, such as the blue-headed parrot, the white-eyed parakeet, the macaw with chestnut front, among others, meets every morning. Here they eat clay, which is rich in minerals and helps them digest and eliminate toxins from their bodies. After, we will return to our lodge.
Afterwards we will take a walk through the forest for 2 to 3 hours. We will return to the cabin for lunch and then rest or swim in the river. After lunch. In the afternoon, ZIP LINE: Our guests at the Amazon Harpy Lodge have the opportunity to appreciate a unique. built high up in the trees. After sliding at high speed through the treetops of the incredible Amazon rainforest, you can make a 25-meter-high RAPPEL to the ground
Then we will do a nocturnal walk through the forest to look for insects, amphibians After the night walk, we will have dinner and spend the night in the Lodge

Day 4: DAY 4: AMAZON HARPY LODGE –HOT SPRING - CUSCO
Stop At: Manu National Park, Manu National Park, Madre de Dios Region
After breakfast, we are going to take the boat up stream to atalaya where our car will wait for us to return to Cusco. We will have lunch along the route back to Cusco, and we will arrive around 5:30 p.m. at 6:30 p.m.

I really recommend this Trip! It was one of our highlights until now. The flora and fauna is insane. Our guides ciro and herman were very knowledgeable, always watched out for animals/plants, very friendly and comfortable to be with. We saw so many different animals, we were very lucky! :)

Nice trip. Intense days mixed with relaxed time. We saw nice birds and monkeys. Zip line was so much fun! The only thing - Lodges. Very very poor hygiene there. Food was just amazing. Guide was very nice guy with a lot of knowledge and so funny. We visited animals sanctuary which also was so nice. Monkeys and sloth were hanging on us.

My husband and I had the best trip to Manu National Park with this agency. We had booked 4D/3N. We had an absolutely fantastic guide, Darwin, who from the start sought out wildlife on the journey into the jungle and was very engaged, kind, and funny. It's definitely the cheapest agency we could find in Cusco/online, and the trip exceeded all expectations. There was a great atmosphere in the group, Darwin enthusiastically talked about his trips in the jungle and shared experiences, we had good food, slept well, and went on lovely hikes, water activities, and zip-lining. We can only give Amazon Peru Travellers the highest recommendations and hope that everyone gets the joy of being with them on a trip.

Interesting trip, great guide Silver is very knowledgeable, well organised and gives good insights into the park, the ecosystem and the background, also speaks good English. 4 days are full of activities but also give a time for rest. Other staff - the boat master and cook are pro and did great job. In overall great experience of the jungle, well recommended.

We had an amazing time in Manu national park. Our guide Silver was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He knows a lot about birds and he did well spotting the animals. The food was great, also for vegans.

Everything about this whole trip was perfect! We had Silver as a guide and he was amazing ! He had so much knowledge about absolutely everything
He retained so much information about everything it blew us all away! We were able to spot so many amazing animals and have the best time. The chef was also perfect along with the driver !
Would recommend this company to anyone wanting to go to the jungle

I had a wonderful time in the jungle, our guide Darwin was very funny and had a lot of knowledge about the jungle. He also told us lots of different stories about the jungle life. I learnt a lot in this tour, saw beautiful animals on our walks, enjoyed the amazing food in the lodges and loved sleeping in the jungle! I would really recommend this tour! :)

Excellent tour company. We really enjoyed the stories of our tour guide Darwin and the knowledge he had of the jungle. The lodges we stayed at were comfortable and we enjoyed the three excellent meals we got during the tour.

This was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life! Darwin was amazing throughout the whole process and knew the jungle like the back of his hand. I only had to ask him what type of fruit was on the ground for him to jump up into the tree and shake me down a fresh one to try!!! The jungle was unbelievable, the food was amazing (the cooks did a great job of catering for my dietary requirements - gluten & dairy free), and the accommodation was great. There was some confusion with bags - you only bring a “day pack” with 4 days worth of clothes (including swimmers, a towel, sun cream and bug spray), and they can look after your big luggage in the office if necessary. We saw capybara, lizards, king vultures… to name a few! Overall I can’t really explain how grateful I am for having had this experience!! Thank you so much Darwin!
