Absolutely brilliant trip!
Myself and my partner were thinking about hiring a camper and making our way up the west coast on our own. Having now done the trip I am so happy we chose this option instead.
We were with a smallish group of only 9 people and our brilliant tour guide Geoff.
Our group became very close and only helped enhance the whole journey by sharing with them and our guide!
The tour was brilliant, we saw so many amazing things, beautiful places and wildlife!
Our guide Geoff was brilliant, knowledgable, friendly and shared lots of interesting personal stories as well as facts about the areas we were passing through and wildlife.
If you’re on the fence about booking this, or thinking about doing it under your own steam I would certainly recommend doing this trip!
It takes away all the stress of planning and organising things.
Also having someone keeping your times on track and also doing all the driving for you just makes this an easy and relaxing experience in comparison to what it could otherwise be.
To all our friends on the trip, thank you, we loved spending time with you!
To our guide Geoff, thank you so much, to meet someone who is both so good at their job and loves it so much was inspiring and you made our trip seamless and something that we will never forget.

It was a great tour… saw many beautiful places. Whale Sharks was one of the greats. (Book it)
Dolphins just swimming near you. But most of all our tour guide was amazing. We couldn’t have done this with Summar.
The many many driving, always happy, optimistic Summar helps throughout the tour. I don’t know how she does it.
She is also keen to play games on the road.
I wouldn’t fib.
Cheers, Kjella

This tour is one of the best we have done over the years. As an "older" couple it was great to immerse ourselves in the mix of ages and nationalities driven by the enthusiasm of our guide, Geoff Homma (and trainee Andrea). The itinerary covered lots of interesting locations and exposed us to so much nature and wild-life both on land and in the water. If Ningaloo and swimming with whale sharks at Exmouth is on your bucket list. . . do it!

I had an incredible experience on the tour led by Geoff and Andrea. From start to finish, it was evident that they are deeply passionate about showcasing the beauty of Australia to visitors. Their genuine care and enthusiasm made the journey truly memorable.
Throughout the tour, Geoff and Andrea went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had an unforgettable time. Their knowledge about the local attractions, culture, and history was impressive, and they eagerly shared insights at every opportunity.
What struck me the most was their dedication to making sure everyone felt included and engaged. Whether it was pointing out hidden gems or organizing fun activities, they went the extra mile to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of us.
Thanks to Geoff and Andrea's guidance and hospitality, I not only got to see breathtaking sights but also gained a deeper appreciation for the wonders of Australia. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and unforgettable adventure Down Under!

We had the most amazing time with Geoff and the other travelers! The West Coast is definitely worth it - absolutely cool and stunning! Geoff inspired us, he teached us in to many ways and we saw a lot of beautiful things like whale sharks, turtles, kangaroos and the desert at all. Thank you Geoff for the really really unforgettable tour! We will always keep you and the other travelers (we had such a cool group full of love) in our mind :)

What an amazing trip! Danny, our tour leader, made it fun the very second we stepped on the bus. He was engaging, knowledgeable, reliable and just hilarious. There was a lot of driving (but that’s just Australia) but the bus was comfortable and the destinations were worth it. We were transported to the most remote places and saw every wildlife on our list from a red kangaroo to turtles, dolphins, manta rays, reef sharks, tiger sharks, snd Danny even stopped the bus to catch a brown snake slither into the desert. Food was tasty and plentiful too.

I could write so much, but in summary, my experience of this tour was amazing!
We visited so many beautiful places, offering diverse scenery, mixing outback Australia with pristine coastlines, so much wildlife, and activities. The most was made of sunrises and sunsets, with something always to do, interspersed with enough rest times.
Some nice short walks, nothing too strenuous in the heat. Snorkelling and seeing the marine life was undoubtedly a highlight of the whole tour. My family chose to do a 2 hour snorkelling tour, and a whale shark swimming tour. If you can afford these, you should have no regrets; you certainly shouldnt be here without seeing the whale sharks.
I cannot list all the wildlife I saw on land, in the air, and in the water, but they included an echidna, emus, feral goats, eagles, sharks, an abundance of fish, turtles, dolphins, and of course the whale sharks!
Oh, beware the flies (seasonal?)! Bring a fly net for your head, or buy one at the earliest opportunity.
The weather in April was perfect, including hot. The bus was modern and comfortable. The whole tour experience was so well organised, and never felt rushed.
This was made possible by the fantastic Autopia guide, Geoff, plus we had the bonus of fellow guide, Summer (the tour is typically run by a single guide). Both were so friendly and helpful, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Geoff really demonstrated his knowledge and experience. He also explained all the activites and daily plans very clearly, and dispelled any possible concerns. Both were so enthusiastic and approachable; what a team! If you're lucky enough to have either of these two, you'll be in great hands.
The food was good, and plenty of it. It was rewarding to provide a helping hand with meal prep. Just be aware that drinks are not provided, so have plenty of water available, though usually there were options to purchase onsite and nearby.
Backpacker style accommodation varied from ok, to excellent. Everywhere was clean and tidy, but some older and more basic, some without airconditioning. I don't consider it an issue. Some days included very early starts, including 5 am breakfast. Have plenty of rest overnight to ensure you have energy the following day.
My whole extended family had a wonderful time, filled with so many fantastic memories. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and hope you can enjoy and experience it as I did.
