COMFORT SURCHARGE APPLIED FOR ALL GUESTS OVER 250lbs - This is for safety and comfort for guest and others flying.
CHECK IN is 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late, your tour may be shortened or rescheduled and additional cost may be applicable.
SERVICE ANIMALS are permitted if they are secured in a crate only. Call for specifications
NOT PERMITTED: DRONES-SMOKING ITEMS (VAPES/LIGHTERS/E-CIG)-FIREARMS-BAGS/BACKPACKS/LOOSE STRAPS - please leave all bags in the vehicle or we do have lockers to store them
WINTER TOURS - October - April -we are unable to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover. We will land next to the glaciers near the massive ice formations
Guests 300lbs or over require our Astar Helicopter to fly. This is not available for every time/day.Please call direct to assure we have that helicopter available to accommodate prior to booking.
Alaska Helicopter Tours has Robinson 44s and ASTAR helicopters. We never guarantee the type of helicopter you will be flying in unless a private helicopter option is purchased. Parties with multiple separate bookings, or parties over 2 passengers may be in 2 helicopters, but will always be together for the tour.
VAN TRANSFERS TO DEPARTURE LOCATION NOT INCLUDED - can be added for a fee
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Our guide Michael Brooks was really informative about the Knik glacier area and the surrounding peaks. It was a smooth ride all throughout.

This is an incredible glacier experience and one you don't want to miss if you're in the Anchorage area. Helicopters can kind of drop in anywhere and you can get to places like next to a blue pool on a glacier that are really hard or impossible to get to otherwise. My pilot, Jessy, was amazing. Not only was he a wonderful pilot, he made sure we didn't miss anything like the many mountain goats along the hillside. He made it fun and kept us safe and made sure we had the experience of a lifetime!

The trip was amazing! Was a little nervous about the helicopter ride but once you get into the air you forget all about it because the views are spectacular! Would highly recommend 10 out of 10! Bd sure to ask for pilot Jessy Tennant...he is wonderful, very friendly and imformative and has the smoothest landings💯💯

It was the best experience in our lives to travel by a helicopter onto a Glacier. The pilot Mr. Bailey was superb. He was very helpful and friendly. He took us around very well. The View up on the glacier was Serene..!! Amazing experience. Once in a lifetime. Thanks again Alaska Helicopter tours for the best experience..!!

This was absolutely the best experience ever!! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions perfectly. The helicopter ride was so amazing and the glacier was absolutely gorgeous!!!Also, definitely being a water bottle to fill up the delicious glacier water. I 1000% recommend everyone to do this tour!!!

This was truly a 5 star experience. The flight in the helicopter alone was worth the trip, but landing in the different spots and getting so many perspectives of the glaciers was incredible. Our pilots were great and made it a great experience.

The views were great. The whole crew was accommodating and professional. We had great time, and our pilot (Cameron) provided wonderful narration and a lot of interesting trivia.
