Perfect weather with 2 Moose in the wild sightings. Two Dalh Sheep low enough on mountain to get a good view. One Eagle perched in a tree top next to the road with a 2nd one in a nearby nest. Wilderness Wildlife Sanctuary had a huge variety of Alaska’s Black and Brown Bears, Bison, Musk Ox, Caribou, Reindeer, Moose, and Wolves.

Juls was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, topography, and history of the area. She was conscientious of respect for the wildlife we did see. There was a bald eagle’s nest that she shared with us but was mindful of keeping a distance so as not to disturb the nest and the bird family. Very impressive.

It was beautiful experience for us. Every part of the trip was amazing. The best thing was our guide- Jet. We had the best time with him. His knowledge of every corner of anchorage, his ever present smile and ready to help attitude made the trip so more helpful. We did so many photo stops and saw amazing animals with mesmerising view of the portage lake with glaciers all around. We came back happy and enriched with so much memories. Thanks Jet for everything.
