Located on the Appleton Estate, which is nestled in the lush Nassau Valley in St. Elizabeth, the Joy Spence Appleton Estate Rum Experience showcases how the exquisite Appleton Estate Jamaica Rums are crafted with excellence from cane to cocktail. It is an only-here, authentic, multi-sensory, educational and fun journey where guests have a chance to see, touch and taste their way through Appleton Estate’s unique rum-making process.

Our tour was fabulous. James was our driver for the shuttle to Appleton Rum. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out landmarks as we drove. I would recommend the tour. One precaution. The road to the distillery is quite bumpy and curves.

We had a phenomenal time from beginning to end. Our tour guide Elliot was exceptional and knowledgeable about the estate and Jamaican culture with a sense of humor roo. Our driver Stewart got us to our destination safe and sound and was warm and friendly. Kudos to them for a job well done!

A beautiful experience. From learning about the history of Appleton Estate to rum tasting, I felt so enriched about the culture and I thank our tour guide Shanoye for enlightening us throughout the tour.

The tour guide was patient and knowledgable. The Appleton Estate was clean and safe. Incredible rum tastings experience. Don't forget to go to the gift shop.....nice and reasonably priced.

The tour guides the driver the staff at the estate were all amazing attention to detail everything was explained they all answered questions and everyone was very knowledgeable and the rum was great !!!!!!!

10 OUT OF 10!!!! I celebrated my birthday weekend with my best friend and this one was of the first excursion/activity we booked! From the moment our private driver, Dwayne picked up (he was soo sweet) and my tour guide who rode along with this the whole time, Tamara (the BEST) that taught us more about Jamaica, the beautiful island and what they had to offer… from authentic Jamaican beef patty, peanuts, coconuts, shrimp/crawfish soup etc to when we go to the BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL distillery. The moment we got there, we were handed their signature cocktails, which tasted amazing, got a full tour of the history of how Jamaica produces their best rum with a decent sized heart. We got to try molasses, moron, sugarcane, and I mentioned… It was mad fun! To end the tour we were serve lunch that included jerk, chicken and jerk pork as well as other side and of course we had to stop at the gift shop to bring more rum home!
If you like rum, want to know more history about Jamaica, and how they even make their ROM, or try to broaden your horizons/experience then no hesitation, book this tour, and get ready for an experience you never tried before, OR GO VISIT AGAIN!

Great trip! Long ride and a few issues with printing voucher which is required. Otherwise it was great tasting rum , great experience, history and clean facilities. Food was also great if you have the option.
