Segovia and Avila were oth amazing. We spent time by the aqueduct and the Romanesque wall. The main tour guide’s English was hard to understand. But he tried hard. The English tour guides in Segovia and Avila were much better. The bus needs some improvement. More than a few chairs were reclined permanently. And some seatbelts didn’t work. The snack provided at the restaurant was not very good. It was cold omelet. Everyone naturally ordered more to eat. The servers were making multiple mistakes. I guess it was because a huge group of people came in all at once. The food was ok.

The lunch experience was horrid . The main reason I came to Segovia was to see the aqueduct and to try the sucking pig that my Spanish friend had said would be a wonderful treat. That was not available. We were left in a restaurant that I would not have chosen and served food that was sub standard eating what I expect was perhaps off cuts and scraps left behind when the cycling pig was carved, which were then deep fried. I paid a total for my table of over €80 for that..
Danny was our guide in Segovia and was brilliant. His English was exceptional and he was always happy to answer any questions and be of assistance.
The other guides were not so easy to understand or of as much interest.

Had a great day in Avila & Segovia. Avila is a beautiful town but Segovia is a beautiful city. Not only the aqueduct but also the castle and the cathedral. We were lucky to be accompanied by two very nice and knowledgeable guides. Beatrice and Martha.

Beatriz was a great guide. Humorous, informed, and we'll paced. The time that lunch was held there were not many quick restaurant options open in Avila so recommend buying a meal at the location with the free snack. Would recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed this day tour to Avila and Sergovia. Both towns were rich in their history. Our tour guide Martha was good in explaining the sights and the history in English. The tour includes Audio Units so we could easily hear what our tour guides were telling us as we walked through both towns and the different buildings. Would recommend this day tour.
