This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Your English speaking guide and private car will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel.
Heading to the Great Wall at Mutianyu section. It will take about 1 hour and half to arrive. Once you have arrived at the The Mutianyu Great Wall, take your time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides that look north toward Mongolia. The Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. Built mainly from granite, the pass at Mutianyu is an appropriately unique section of the Great Wall.
Then, you will be heading to a local restaurant for lunch, it will take about 40 minutes there.
Afterwards, you will visit the Panda House in west part of the city. The giant panda is the rarest member of the bear family and among the world's most threatened animals. The giant panda is listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union's (IUCN's) Red List of Threatened Species. There are about 1,600 left in the world and you will see a few here.
After the panda visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

Susan was an absolute gift!!! I booked this trip for my first day in Beijing, arriving the prior afternoon. I would be working for the week and didn't want to miss this opportunity to explore Beijing's treasured sights.
Susan picked me up in my hotel lobby (alongside our driver who was so friendly, accommodating, and prompt). I immediately felt at ease and in great hands! We started by seeing the pandas at the Beijing Zoo and Susan helped me navigate seamlessly through the park. It was a joy and we laughed so much!
Next, we went to the Great Wall and she bravely inspired me to take the ski lift to the top. I loved that it was like experiencing it with a friend. I was obviously a bit tired from the long flight from NYC and she let me rest in the car and we could walk as I wanted. She had a wealth of knowledge to share when I was ready and she was so open to sharing her personal experiences and context about culture.
She recommended we take the toboggan down and it was a once in a lifetime experience!! She made sure I felt safe and stayed by my side.
We then spent the afternoon eating authentic cuisine and shopping. It was a day I will NEVER forget!

Lucy was an amazing tour guide. She was super friendly and was very excited to show us around. She picked us up with our driver at our hotel lobby at the specified time. During our drive she spoke about and showed us various landmarks. She is very knowledgeable about beijing. The zoo trip was fantastic. Although we did not have time to fully explore the whole zoo, Lucy made sure to take note of the animals that we definitely wanted to see and show them to us. The lunch was also exceptional. We wanted a local experience and she gave us just that. Sightseeing at Mutianyu was an unforgettable experience. We got to walk around and take loads of stunning pictures whilst Lucy explained the history of the great wall.

If you have a day in Beijing, I would highly recommend that you book this tour. I had a few days in between my flights and, as I was alone, I felt that doing a tour was my best option. I got picked up from my hotel early morning and returned (to my hotel) early evening.
Lucy and our driver were absolutely amazing! I could not have wished for a better experience - given that I was able to climb one of the Wonders of the World, have lunch with my new friends, purchase presents and souvenirs, see fluffy pandas, and all this in just one day!
Five stars!

If you book online and receive an email stating that your reservation was cancelled, call the number listed at the bottom of your email. I paid with PayPal, and received an email stating that my reservation was cancelled- within minutes of reserving a tour.
I called the number, and they were able to resolve the issue. Their customer service is superb!

Lucy was lovely, the wall was beautiful and the toboggan ride so much fun! My phone ran out of power so Lucy took some photos on her phone and shared the afterwards by email.

The service provided by Lucy is outstanding. She has the knowledge of the history, place of important. She plan the trip such a wonderful way the trip was pleasant.

We've traveled as a family all over the world, and have done several tours. However, this tour has to top the list of ONE OF THE BEST we've EVER done!
First off, Jimmy is an AMAZING tour guide. He spent so much time enriching our experience with little bits of really interesting information, and he got along with our daughter so well. Never once did we feel rushed, and the recommendations he made all along the way...whether it was food, good picture spots, whatever, were totally spot on.
We took some amazing pictures at both the Great Wall and Panda Garden, and enjoyed a super yummy meal after seeing the Great Wall. Tip: Order the mushroom dish! Pic included. It's got to be one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever eaten. A little spicy, but AMAZING.
Oh, and take the Toboggan down from the Great Wall. What a rush!

We had such a great tour of the wall and was such an amazing day. Our guide Albert made the visit very nice. He was a great guide and highly recommend. Albert ensured everything went smoothly and is very knowledgeable about the wall and the history. I cannot recommend enough.

Dream comes true with an excellent guide Amy n glad we booked Viator.Amy was thorough in her history n ready to learn more.Amazing time spent at Great Wall as not much crowd too. Lunch was at a decent restaurant n good food with our requests met.Panda house really disappointing.Excellent Driver too.
