The coffee farm was interesting, the volcano rim was a bit of a let down, the rainbow waterfall had no rainbow and the other falls was gorgeous. The black sand beach and turtles were eat. Lunch was great. Driver was very knowledgeable and had great shots of an actual eruption. Was a very long drive. Driver was great. Bathrooms everywhere, some park bathrooms needed clean up/repair.

Amazing way to spend the day on the Big Island! Started with Kona coffee farm complete with samples, then to a black sand beach with sea turtles coming ashore, and to Volcano Nat’l Park complete with the crater releasing steam! A walk through an old lava tube, the 2 beautiful waterfalls, before finally viewing a gorgeous valley meeting the sea.

Highly recommend this all day tour around the island..we would not have been able to experience or understand everything we saw if we did this ourselves. Grant was an excellent guide..very knowledgeable and respectful of his home. Loved the walk through the lava tube and extra time we had at the local market. If we would have stayed longer, I would have spent way more money. We covered a lot of island highlights and learned a lot of history.

Loved the various stops, starting with the coffee plantation. Lots of interesting plants and information about the nuances of Kona coffee. Of course, we had to purchase some whole coffee beans and ship them home. The bakery stop, after the coffee, was perfect for the breakfast we were not able to eat before our early morning pick-up. Very pleased that the tour picked us up first and right at our hotel. Our guide, David, was excellent and tried to advise us about what to expect on the trip, including bathroom ratings. David of course could not control the weather, so there was nothing to be done about the heavy downpours that hit our group during the waterfall portion of the day. These two stops were the longest and most arduous walks on the trip, and being totally soaked by the time we returned to the van did not help. The lava tube was interesting, and the flashlights David made available were very much appreciated, and helpful for avoiding the many puddles in the cave-like lava formation. Lunch at the black sand beach was good and we saw several sea turtles out in the water. We were very satisfied that we did get a good glimpse of the whole Island with the Circle Island Tour. Long day, but worth not trying to drive it on your own.

Chris was our tour guide on an amazing day tour of the big island. We went to a Kona coffee farm, Volcano national park, steam vents, lava tubes, a black sand beach, and 2 beautiful waterfalls. Those were just a few of our stops along the way. Chris made it so interesting with his wealth of knowledge about the history of Hawaii. There seemed to be no question that he couldn’t answer. A nice lunch was provided along with snacks and water throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour with Chris at Wasabi.

This was a good tour. We had Miexia who was a wealth of knowledge about Hawaiian Island history, but we were very disappointed that we only had 15 minutes at the Kilauea crater, which is why we booked the tour in the first place. We would have liked to visit the visitors center. Less time or cut out the Kona coffee farm. Cut out lava tube also. If the lava tube must be done, torches should be brought along. Very dark in there and we were dodging large puddles of water.
