The signature Blue Dolphin experience departs daily from Tamarindo. The tour allows time for a little of everything. You will be able to enjoy the exhilarating performance of a catamaran, lounge in the sun, use our kayaks, and swim in the warm tropical water while spotting dolphin, rays and reef fish. Our friendly, professional crew will ensure your comfort and safety during this spectacular journey along the Guanacaste Costa Rica coast, a trip you’ll be sure to remember.

Snorkel gear and instructions
Use of kayaks and fishing poles for trolling
Appetizers including chicken fajitas, arroz con pollo (a typical Costa Rican dish of rice with chicken), salad, incredible chips & salsa, fresh fruit plate, vegetables & dip and banana cake.
Open bar with juices, sodas, beer, white rum, guaro (a clear Costa Rican liquor), vodka and bottled water

We had a great time.
Only downside is the boat is very slippery and more than one person slipped on the trip.

Friendly atmosphere , great mix of music and ages onboard, felt safe, ok drinks; watered down for a reason lol, and most important got to swim in the ocean and saw the Sunset on a Catamaran; Beautiful. Price compared to other companies was very reasonable; food was really good on the Catamaran.

Positives: Food was good. Crew was friendly and wanted to ensure people were having a good time. Sunset was beautiful. Better for a younger crowd.
Negatives for me and my friends who are in the 55+ club:
Sails were not deployed which was a big disappointment.
We stopped at a beach but there was no transportation from the boat to the beach. You either had to climb down a very steep set of metal stairs between the nets, or jump off the side of the catamaran, and swim to the beach. Several people were not comfortable with doing that and stayed on the boat.
Music was geared toward a younger crowd which is fine but it was played at a loud volume that made it hard to hear others talking.

This could have been a great experience, but the crew was disorganized and we waited around for over an hour to get loaded & underway. They booked too many people and it wasn’t easy to get around on the catamaran. The food & drinks were excellent, but the unloading in the dark in choppy water was hazardous.

Delightful, cheerful crew! They were eager to help and happy to be around! They made the experience very fun. It was the fastest 5 hours of my life! I could have stayed at the beach double the time! We saw puffer fish, big sea slugs, anemones, and lots of other things while snorkeling. Later, we asked for a recipe for food we ate on the sail home and they cheerfully gave it to us! Such a fun day!

We all had a great time. The crew was especially entertaining. Plenty to eat and drink. The snorkeling was not good, but did not expect it to be on the Pacific coast.

The tour was great, we had a beautiful day. The staff were superb. They took care of a couple of people who became sea sick with kindness, care and professionalism. The food was light and easy to consume on the catamaran. Highly recommended.

Workers were very friendly. Felt very safe the entire time. Great selection of drinks for the open bar and the workers on the boat would come by asking if you needed a drink frequently. It was a beautiful tour and we got a chance to swim in the ocean and up to shore to see some monkeys. Highly recommend.
