Tomas was really great. He spoke perfect English and really took his time with the group. He picked me up right on time and the whole trip was amazing. He paid for us to go to the toilet and we got ice cream and drinks throughout the day. It was a long day but very worth it. He made sure everyone was okay and stayed behind with anyone that was catching up.

Northern Hikes were great at helping me get to the meeting. I was in Zone 5 so they arranged a taxi for me to get to the first pick up point in Zone 1 from my hotel - I truly appreciate that as I wasn't sure how else I was going to make it in time given it was my second day in Prague. Their communication was great, clear and good timing, so no stress on my part. This also made them an easier choice as many other tour operators weren't offering that as an option.
Martin, our tour guide, was great - very personable, considerate and very knowledgable about the area, added bonus was that he grew up near the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Martin also tailored the hike a bit for the ever so slighlty more adventurous of us so we had a more 'creative' way of passing through through the odd rock formation.
Lunch was amazing - a lot more than substantial than I was expecting, so that was a major plus.
We didn't get to go ont he boat trip but think that was due to the time of year (mid March).
Also got some nice views in Bohemia.
There's a fair amount of walking involved - which I loved, but if you have knee problems or similar, you may want to consider if you'll be ok going through slightly rocky terrain, and the occasional steep slopes and stairs throughout the day.
Thanks Martin for your personal touches throughout the day - was great fun!

The hike was a highlight of our Czech trip! We walked about 15 miles through some of the prettiest landscapes and hills we’ve seen. We hiked about 15 miles, so be sure to have good walking shoes (tennis or running shoes are fine) and a water bottle. We are in our excruciatingly late 50’s and managed but there are a lot of stairs (worth it for the views!). I’d call the hike moderate if your knees work. The guide had water, but still helpful to have your own water bottle. Depending on the weather, you’ll want to bring appropriate gear, hat, etc. keep a snack in your pocket. Light snacks and a delicious lunch included. Mikal, our guide, was a generous, thoughtful, friendly and very knowledgeable steward- we felt well cared for in his company. A true sweetie-pie. The time spent in the comfy van between stops was perfect for cat naps. Highly recommended!

Beautiful scenery all around! Well organized. Mike was particularly patient with my wife and I as we were the slow ones of the group.
