Shame on Cathay Pacific for offering this lounge even to their Emerald members. Why not just use the Qantas lounge, which is far from perfect, but aeons better than this. The food is terrible (except for the cheese counter, I must give it to them. The space is minute, but still the staff does not manage to keep it clean. Dirty dishes are all over the place, the conditions of the toilets are of biblical note. Absolutely disgusting. And it's always like that. This is not a one-off review. Shame on their management for not having enough staff. Shame on all the airlines that offer this joke to their customers.

Worst lounge ever! We walked in and walked straight out again asking if we were in the right place? It’s tiny, nowhere to sit when we arrived, food looks inedible, if you want a drink you have to ask, and the girl serving definitely hasn’t been on the customer service course!

Tables had dirty plates and cups everywhere with no sign of it being cleared. Breakfast was average with very dry scrambled eggs and over cooked sausages.

Food was uninspiring and very basic . Lounge area was very shabby . The plates couldn’t have been smaller and there was very little chive in food

This is absolutely the worst lounge I have visited. The food selection and quality was atrocious. The grey eggs were a standout. Dirty tables everywhere on arrival. The staff were friendly but there was no sense of urgency to collect any of the used plates or wipe a table. Cutlery station was empty and when I asked for a fork one was rinsed by hand and handed to me. I saw a young man order mimosas and then saw the server take two dirty flute glasses from an overflowing pile and rinse them under a tap before refilling them and handing them still dripping to the customer. No hand towel in the bathroom and soap dispenser empty. The whole place needs a refurb but the glass and cutlery rinsing was next level. Zero stars. Would not recommend.

We chose to utilise the Plaza Premium Lounge prior to departure of an overseas trip. The Lounge advertisers an opening time of 6am but without care or apology opened at 6.15am. Initially my booking could not be found, requiring me to search for and produce my online receipt for payment. This delay at the Desk was infuriating a number of Guests queued behind me as the young unfriendly Receptionist tried to locate my booking. Once entry had been gained, this Lounge and its offering represents very poor value. The Foods on offer showed no imagination or creativity and are reminiscent of old world catering. The majority of Staff were unfriendly and the young female Barista needs to be trained in both Coffee production and Customer Service. At a cost of $126.00 for 2 Guests this option for pre flight travel should be avoided.

Didn’t release it wasn’t open all day so paid for 6 hours but only ended up getting 2. The staff could have been a bit more friendly and happy to be at work!

My wife and travel business class and entry to a business lounge ir the norm. On this occasion we travelled economy class and decided to utilize the Premium Plaza Lounge. What a very pleasant surprise. The lounge is the business lounge used by Korean Airlines. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The food on offer (breakfast we were there at 7am for an early flight) was very good but limited. In saying that. there was plentiful, including staples such as bacon. eggs. mushrooms. pancakes, juices etc. The pastries were excellent as was the coffee. We also had a couple of glasses of celebratory Champayne. There are two lounges open to the public on payment of a fee ( total $127 for two) There is a time limit of two hours at the Plaza and 3 hours at the Aspire Lounge for much the same. For us not travelling business class we felt this was most reasonable given the comfort and quietness of the area as well as many charging ports and power outlets. The amenities were very clean and tidy and to be honest we could not fault the Lounge. Would use this facility again - you betcha !!!!
