So green and beautiful we enjoyed walking around we probably spent 3-4 hours here. We walked across the bridge and a couple other platforms. The shops were very cute and we grabbed lunch her as well. The free shuttle from the hotel zone was very convenient. PS DON’T RUN ON THE BRIDGE

The Capilano Suspension Bridge offers breathtaking views. The owls experience was amazing, and there was so much to see. Crossing the suspension bridge was an incredible adventure, but the cliff walk was even more challenging. I’m glad we did it!

I had visited Lynn Canyon Park a couple of days before, which also has a suspension bridge over a canyon with a river flowing below. I found that park very original, rustic in which you could walk down flights of stairs, walkways to the river bed. Entry to the park is free bar the parking fee. Capilano Suspension bridge park was more touristy, in comparison, more crowded and was decorated to be a spectacle, which would be magnificent at Christmas. For those reasons , I wasn’t as overwhelmed or awe struck as perhaps I ought to be, had I visited it in isolation from LC Park. In it’s own right, the park is fine, in comparison to Lynn Canyon it comes second, and had I known what I do now, I would not have visited Capilano Park. I’m a tourist from England.

We had a great time. The bridge itself thou cool wasn’t the high light. It was just walking the trails and learning about the wildlife from all the staff they had there.

This is a beautiful spot so close to Vancouver, the free shuttle is a great service as well. Only gave 4 stars as we didn’t get to do the tree walk as it was closed for repairs.

Half the property was closed, making it a waste of time. The bridge while fun was only a single bridge. We were done within 30 minutes of the whole thing

WOW what an awesome experience. Beautifully maintained paths and a suspension bridge linking both sides of the gorge, plus the rock face walk. The tree top experience was closed for maintenance when we visited, it was a disappointment but it did not distract from our enjoyment. The company also gave a discount for this, which we thought was a nice gesture. The sun was out as was the numerous guides offering useful information about the history of both the bridge and the local “first nations” it was interesting to see how both the bridge, the land it occupies and these people were all a major part in the development of this area. A nice addition also is the free bus that runs from downtown Vancouver to the main entrance. We spent about 4 hours here and thought it was a very relaxing place. The highlight of the rock wall walk is the 180 degree suspension platform that gives fantastic views to the bottom of the gorge. My wife doesn’t like heights, but she felt safe walking around it, as it is a very stable structure. We had time for a look around the sizeable gift shop and enjoyed a hot chocolate and cakes before heading back to Vancouver. Highly recommended half day tour, as it complemented our Vancouver experience.
