Aaron was an excellent tour guide and the experience was beautiful! It was nice to be picked up at my bed and breakfast and dropped conveniently at the airport. Lunch was delicious too!

We booked this tour as our shore excursion while on a cruise with a stop in Belize City - met driver right outside the cruise port - Jimmy was our driver and main guide. He was good with good commentary during the drive inland - Transportation was multi-passenger van. There was about 12 of us on the trip. The van was air conditioned and pleasant on the way there, but they chose have the windows rolled down on the way back which made for a very hot and unpleasant ride for those towards the back of the van - Excursion takes place in a nature park which has some shops and vendors at the beginning. You begin and end the tour at the same point. We left our belongings in the van. - after getting our gear, we hiked about 30 minutes thought a wide forest trail to get upriver. This was actually quite pleasant and a nice temperature. Jimmy gave commentary about the local plants and wildlife as we went, stopping a few times to show things - we crossed the river 3 times on the walk. Each time provided a brief chance to jump in the water and cool off which was nice - when arriving at the destination, tubes are connected together and int the river/caves we go! We just sit their while the guides either swim or pull us along. - Saw a boa constrictor, bats and lots of birds - caves were cool and really pleasant - last part of the "float" was after the caves and in the open river. We had the option to get out and swim the last 100 yards or so and that was fun as it was 10 x hotter as soon as you leave the caves and are in the direct sun - ended back at the park with chicken tamales and water. Of the 4 people in our group, only 1 enjoyed the tamale lunch. - drove us back to the cruise port

This was hands down the best excursion I have taken across all my cruises. The team was extremely nice and our tour guide Kenton made the trip so much more fun. The car ride to the site is a bit long but Kenton made it worth it. The drive is very pretty and Kenton told us all about Belize culture, history, and surroundings while slipping in a few jokes that made the ride fly by. When you arrive at the park make sure to grab some rum in a pineapple from the local stand it was self service and delicious! Don’t let the walk to the mouth of the cave deter you if you are one that enjoys nature you will thoroughly enjoy this experience. The actual river tubing itself was amazing and a must see if you’re planning on visiting. The lunch provided after floating the river for my group was Belizean tamales. If you are like me and used to Tex mex tamales this was a game changer and a must try. Overall this was a great excursion and me and my group will definitely return and try some of the other offerings they have to see more of Belize! Thank you Kenton for making our trip unforgettable!

Would do this excursion again in a heartbeat. It’s the tour company I wouldn’t use again. First thing is the transport van is falling apart missing door handles so you have to pull a string, ac barely working, and the dash board lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights. Spend the whole drive praying it doesn’t break down. Second thing is the tour guide misplaced the keys to the van so we spent an hour and a half sitting on the side of the road waiting for spare keys to be brought to us.

Upon tendering to the port, walk out and remember, "cave tubing five star," there's someone waiting for you, and the port guards(?) will ask if you've booked a tour with a third party as you exit the port. Definitely bring or rent water shoes ($3) from the shops on site. Daton, pronounced Dayton, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun, and tubing in the caves was amazing. Great for those who enjoy swimming and adventure.

The tour was very informative as Dayton explained all matters of plants, wildlife and customs as we walked through the jungle to the river. Once on the tubes, the ride was very relaxing. Dayton continued his guide knowledge as he explained the cave system as it related to the Mayans.

Recommended by multiple locals. Trip was great value. Just under an hour each way, including pickup from your accommodation. Tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Small group compared to the other tours (just four of us) which made it more enjoyable. Chicken tamales for lunch after but my partner and I are vegetarian so rice and beans with a side salad was sorted from the local restaurant for us. (Bonus to get a rum-filled coconut/pineapple from a local seller). Great trip, would definitely recommend!

The company that was used was Cavetubing5stars. You should know it’s an hour drive to the cave but once you get there it is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Well worth the time. The lunch that was provided was a chicken tamale. It was very small, not a lunch but really a snack. There were extra tamales left in a bag but the driver did not offer everyone if we wanted another. I think he ate for himself later. I took a star off bc that driver was a bit shady. Once we got to the cave facility, there are vendors selling sandals and plastic phone waterproof holder (which btw you don’t need bc only your butt gets wet). Driver tells us don’t use vendors on the right side bc they were untrustworthy but to use vendors on the left. So I went to buy a phone holder from the left vendors and the price was $25! I’m all about supporting local businesses and don’t mind paying a little more but $25 is highway robbery. Holder was of cheap quality. Not like the great quality I got on Amazon for 9 bucks. Also I was interested in a small coin purse and the lady was like. “Oh it took many hours to make that, it’s normally $20 but just give me $10”. Well, back at the port stores that same exact purse was $6. BEWARE of vendors on the left side there. Lol
