Julie was our guide. She was entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We experienced 4 Chicago tastes in businesses with chicago history and local owners. She explained the history of each dish. Deep dish pizza, chicago style hotdog, sliced beef roll and a surprise dessert. This was one of the beat food tours i have been on and would definitely recommend it.

Our guide was Jeff. He was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and shared photos following the tour. We enjoyed his descriptions of Chicago past and present along with the great food at iconic Chicago locations. We saw many points of interest along the route beyond the fun food focus as well. This is a fun, informative walking tour. We saw quite a few iconic Chicago areas. The area around Millenium Park was really nice! The food on the tour was really good; all the Chicago favorites, deep dish pizza, Chicago hot dog, Italian beef and a sweet ending with a brownie from Palmers. A really fun night and our tour guide Greg was great!

Riya was very informative and patient. The tour is a really good experience to try the different kinds of food Chicago is known for. I was skeptical about the amount of walking we would be doing but it was perfectly fine. We had a torrential downpour during the second half of the tour which put a damper on the experience. Riya tried his best to stay positive and make the most of out of the situation (which is admirable) but I think if we are paying for a walking tour, a little bit of planning ahead would’ve been nice. Either offer ponchos or umbrellas or give patrons the heads up about the weather and allow them to decide if they want to go and buy their own umbrellas or walk in the rain. Overall, it was a great experience, meeting new people, learning about the history and eating amazing food.
