It was an early morning pick up from Tulum. and about a 2 hour drive to Chichen Itza. The tour guides were helpful, kind, and so funny. Chichen Itza was an incredible place. We had an hour of guided tour and an hour of walking around on our own. We visited Chichikan Cenote. They served a buffet style lunch, which was great, many options for vegetarians. The cenote was unbelievably pretty. We were able to bring small bags and our phones with us for pictures. The Valladolid part of the tour was quite short, only about 45 minutes. It was mostly a tequila tasting. I chose to walk about and see a little bit of the neighborhood. It is a really charming city. There was a 90 minute drive back to Tulum.

Had a great experience with our tour to Chichén Itzá with the tour company. The bus provided was clean, and a great way to endure the 3 hour journey from Cancun. Pick up from the hotel was on time and the seats were assigned. Our driver Enrique was professional and drove very well to our stops. The guide Rey was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. It was very cool that he was able to communicate with some Chinese passengers on the bus. You could tell that Rey takes immense pride in what he does and makes sure that you are getting the full experience. I thank him for his great stories and the educational journey he took us on. I would highly recommend this company, guide, and driver.

I love Mexico and had some good experiences BUT I did not like what this company did. I booked for two to take this trip and I was staying in Tulum by the ocean which is a small Main Street quite a distance from the main town. I chose the hotel for pickup and received a late night email saying they would be picking me in town . There was almost no way to get there but I found a taxi early morning for 50$ USA. When I saw their bus I knew they never had planned to pick me up at the hotel as that bus would never have made it into the street. On another note , both Ruth and Victor were professional and fluent guides on the bus but our group was very large and when we walked around the temple and other sites, Victor spoke so low and only to the people in front so we could hear basically nothing. I have great hearing… it was also very hot and there was a group with umbrellas which I think they should offer for rental.. The price is right if you are close to their pick up point and just hoping to be driven to things.

I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family! Alfredo was our tour guide and had a ton of knowledge on the Mayan people and their history. Danilo, our driver, also did a great job keeping us safe and navigating the busy Cancun streets! This tour is a very long day - 12 hours. Do not convince yourself that you are getting back early. I did wish we had another hour at Chichen Itza because there is a lot more ruins to explore if you move to the back and wander through the trees. I also would have loved another 30 minutes at Valladolid so we had time to explore a little more. However, I suppose I understand those time restraints since this is such a long day already. Do NOT buy the upgrade package! The company pre-buys the tickets so you do not have to wait in line even if you did not buy the upgrade (and by the way, the line was very short). It was also not a big deal to purchase the life jacket on site for 60MXN each. For drinks at lunch, my husband and I got a coke and a water for 6MXN total. Why I gave this tour 4 stars instead of 5 is the constant pushing of sales. It is clear this company has relationships with certain vendors, and the sales pitch is shameless.
