Arrived as advised 30 mins prior to sailing and got great seats on top deck.
We braved the cold wind and stayed on top deck for entire cruise to enjoy the fantastic views. Inside was lovely and warm for those not so brave.
Food prices on board were in line with the rest of New York. Live commentary was good and very clear.
Getting so close to Statue of Liberty was amazing.
The cruise is timed to perfection as we set off in the daylight and returned in the dark giving us 2 very different views.

Very good cruise. Must have for New York visit. Starts in day light to see all views and skyline in day and then sunset happens and then eventually dark with Manhattan skyline glowing in dark. Friendly folks, very good duration and timing.. overall excellent

I would recommend the experience to friends and family. We were a couple but this would suit all group types.
The tour covered the bottom half of manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, it’s at the best time of the day with the sunset made the views fantastic. The tour guide was good and gave a lot of knowledge and information throughout.
The seating was good, only issue was that people clearly didn’t listen about waiting and would bundle into the area where the view was, if you are sat there this made hearing abit difficult. However, anywhere in the open upstairs seating is good for views as the boat turns. Sometimes the wind can make it cold up there but embrace it and the views are fantastic especially the sunset views.
A tip is listen to the early arrival we arrived at 5:50pm and there was already a large queue for people to board.
Would recommend! 5*’s.

What a great time, the cruise was the best way of seeing all of the bridges and the Statue of Liberty both in daylight and lit up at night.

An absolute must when you’re in NYC. The only way to see the city at night!! We had a beautiful trip on the Hudson and our guide was so knowledgeable and had the most wonderful voice! We could have listened to his stories all night. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience would highly recommend. Fantastic views of Manhattan and the surrounding areas as the sun set. New York city at night is really a sight to behold. Tour guide Dave was also one of the most entertaining we've ever had the pleasure of listening to - hilarious and highly informative, he really takes you on a journey! Word of advice though - wrap up warm it can get very cold out on the river.

For the 1st hour of this trip it was still day light on a day which was gloomy & overcast.
It wasn’t until about 8pm the city lights started to slowly come on & we were halfway round the trip before it was dark.
It was very cool seeing the city skyline at night but again so many tourists packed on the boat crowding round the best observation areas to take photos & videos.
The trip in summer times should be amended from 8pm till 10pm so you appreciate the whole tour in the dark.
All food & drink overpriced & the speaker system was very poor as the sound of the boat muffled the commentary by the captain & we had a job to hear what he was saying.
We had to get two taxis from midtown one there & one back as we were too exhausted from a week of sightseeing
So a shuttle bus included in the City lights cruise would be a good way forward as no tube goes near the piers.

Great tour!! The entire staff (ticket agents, boat crew, tour guide) were extremely helpful and made the experience that much better. Definitely bring a jacket since you're on the water at night but be prepared for gorgeous scenery, pictures and a wealth of information!
