This tour is excellent...the views, the wine, the tastings, the places you visit and so worth the price. What made it extra brilliant was Ricardo our guide and Novais our driver. Ricardo is so much fun and gave us lots of knowledge and facts. Novais navigated some tricky roads perfectly. They really did make the day special.

Steer clear! If you’re assigned Mario as your guide, request your money back immediately. He’s disrespectful, makes horrendous comments and su1cide jokes (yes, multiple!). 50% of the information he shares during the tour is made up and not factual. The tour itself is a terrible cash grab, you’ll be stuck on the bus for over 50% of the tour listening to headache inducing nonsense. The food sucked too.

Had an amazing day with our host Mariana and coach driver Arlindo!
Mariana was very knowledgable on the area as we travelled on the beautiful coach. She made it fun and not too heavy! The scenery was beautiful. The wine tour was fascinating and picturesque. The boat cruise for an hour also lovely. The lunch exceeded our expectations! Beautiful food and free flowing wine. Mariana ensured my dietary requirements were met too and kept everyone happy. We sat with such lovely people too.
Lastly we stopped off on the way back at a lovely little village for an ice cream and pastry.
A really enjoyable day out, would highly recommend.
Thank you to both Mariana and Arlindo for making it such fun and enjoyable.

We had a great time with this excursion. The Douro valley is beautiful , lunch at the first winery was delicious. The second winery gave us a close up view at the vineyard. This was a low level walking excursion.

Our guide David was absolutely wonderful! He was so patient with our two little kids who tagged along for the trip. The tour group even provided car seats for my 3 year old and 10 month old for the bus rides, as well as fruit juice during the wine tastings!
Would highly recommend for a day out of the city center.

It was an amazing trip from start to finish. The first winery tour was done well where we learnt about the process of making the wine, and also the basics of the business. The weather turned for the better in the afternoon making the river cruise enjoyable after a good lunch. The second winery we toured was in a picture perfect landscape and a great end to an amazing day.

What a great experience! I really enjoyed all the history provided by Ricardo and the Port wine tasting at the 2 different locations. The lunch was so good that was provided. Douro Valley cruise was lovely. I don't know how Novais was able to manage all those tight curves, but he did it! Good job guys, you make a great team!

Amazing experience! Beautiful views, great wine & port wine, and an unforgettable day overall. The Douro Valley and its vineyard & river are a must do while you’re in Porto, and if you can get a tour guide like Pedro, even better! He was so knowledgeable about the area, it made you realize how special it really is. Would 100% do it all over again.
