On the search for these three beautiful animals, the knowledgeable guide will drive you around la Fortuna's beautiful spotting areas for more wildlife. Birds, iguanas, and monkeys are among the animals that you might encounter. In this tour, you can use the special spotting scope or take nice pictures of the sloths, toucans, and frogs with your camera.

Great tour guide Jaime helped us to see 5 sloths and made it a very enjoyable experience! They also pointed out other wildlife along the way such as bats ans poison dart frogs. Breakfast included as well was a nice touch.

Jaime and Jonathan were great guides. We spotted many sloths but also howler monkeys, toucans, iguanas…They provided binoculars and a telephoto lens which we could look through and attach our phones to for taking photos and videos. Both were very knowledgeable and fluent in English, though they tolerated my Spanish.

The guides were excellent trackers - we found multiple sloths (including babies) during the tour and several other species too. The guides also provided us with binoculars and provided free photo opps through a powerful telescope. Recommended if you want to see some sloths!

We went with Jaime and Andres and this tour was the final tour we did on our vacation having done 8 prior guided tours and this was by far and away our favorite. The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about their jobs, and eager to share their stories, knowledge, and a wonderful time with us. We couldn’t recommend it more.

The sloth tour was the best with Darrin ! He was super knowledgeable about sloths and birds! We found 2 mature female sloths immediately & the females had pups !

Excellent guide Jaime and Driver Manuel. Both very enthusiastic and knowledge on sloths -their behaviors and environment and history. We learned more from them than years of traveling Central America.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about sloths! He found quite a few in our tour around the La Fortuna area. The provided binoculars and shared scope were very helpful, and they shared a lot of great pictures from the scope at the end of the tour.

This tour was great!! We got picked up and driven to different locations where the guide went out of the van to check if sloths were there.
If they spotted a sloth we would get out of the van and observe them!! The guides have a big monocular and position it perfectly to see the sloth. They also take pictures and videos that look amazing and they airdrop them to people at the end.
The pictures they take are incredible!!! The guides are VERY knowledgeable and can identify every sloth and tell you all about them. The guides are also insanely good at spotting them, as sloths are very hard to see sometimes. We saw 6 total sloths!!! And one was very active and was scratching, hanging upside down, eating.
After the tour they take you to this beautiful restaurant in a nature area to have a snack. The snack is delicious!! It’s fresh fruit and a really good plantain chip with tomatoes and beans.
This tour was great!! Highly recommend booking!!

They were experts in finding sloths-it’s not easy! They worked to make sure everyone could find them by using a laser pointer and giving out binoculars. They also located them in a telescope so all could see the sloths close up. Really fun.
