Jose was an amazing tour guide! He was so knowledgeable, fun, and gave more than just the coffee, sugar, & chocolate tour. We saw toucans, frogs, other wildlife, and Jose peppered all his knowledge with personal anecdotes. I highly recommend this tour!

This is a must do tour for sure! We will forever be coffee snobs after the informative and delicious experience. If you’re not a big chocolate fan you will be after this! 100 percent recommend!

Our tour guide David was very knowledgeable and helpful, we learned a lot about the coffee and chocolate cultivation and preparation processes. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend this tour if you visit La Fortuna.

We really enjoyed this tour! You get to learn about the coffee making process and enjoy a few coffee samples along the way. The tour started with tasting the different percentages of dark chocolate (100% dark chocolate was not a fan favorite haha). We then got to try some medium roast coffee. Our guide, David, was amazing and very knowledgeable. He took us on a tour of the property itself where he started by showing us what a fresh cocoa looks like and even let us taste it. It was so good! He took us through the fermenting and drying process which leads us to the coffee beans we see in our grocery stores. The last part of the tour was my favorite. He let us taste melted dark chocolate and let us add things to it as we liked (peanuts, sea salt, vanilla, coconut, etc). We also got to enjoy a dark roast coffee at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour even if you aren't a huge coffee drinker. You will certainly learn a lot!
