Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: East Island Excursions, Puerto Del Rey Marina, Fajardo 00738 Puerto Rico
After an approximate 50-minute cruise, you’ll arrive at a beautiful reef – Carlos Rosario or the Luis Peña underwater nature preserve – located just off Culebra’s western shore, where your crew will anchor for 1.5 hours of snorkeling fun followed by a light lunch.
Then it’s just 20 minutes to a deserted Culebra beach off the beaten path, where you’ll spend the rest of the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing or sunbathing. (Underwater cameras and sunscreen are available for purchase on board.) Your captain will decide which beach is best, depending on weather conditions that day – most likely stunning Flamenco or a half-mile long beach on Culebrita, a tiny islet of the east coast of Culebra with outstanding views of St Thomas.

The boat ride from Fajardo was relaxing and quick. Flamenco Beach lived up to its reputation, and the snorkeling off the west coast of Culebra was amazing.

This was the best part of our trip to Puerto Rico! We had so much fun. The staff were so accommodating, friendly, and available. The buffet was great along with the unlimited rum drinks. The water was beautiful. We felt safe the entire time. Would highly recommend!

The snorkeling spot was lovely with tons of fish and things to see. The beach was one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to and was far less crowded than others in the area. The catamaran wasn’t our style ( we like a bit more excitement and exposure to the outside) but was smooth going with two bathrooms which was convenient. The tour company was very communicative and has a nice coffee shop/store on site before you head out which worked out perfectly for those last-minute snacks and or things you might’ve forgotten.

We had so much fun on our trip! Food was great! Beach was amazing! Snorkeling was fantastic! Will definitely do again!!
Crew was on it and made the trip even better :)
Would suggest taking motion sickness medication because… boy did I feel for the ones who got sick.. and I shared some with someone after the first stop and it made a world of a difference for them!

This was more of an American college Greek life experience than a relaxed one.
It was go go go party party party the whole time. They really pushed the tip
Jar on us when by the cost of the tour they should be able to pay their staff a living wage. The bus that picked us up was super later and because of that we were really rushed upon drop off at the marina to the point where I had hoped to get a coffee and urinate but was told I would be left. Their wrist bands don’t match the color they say they are. For example mine was clearly orange but they said it was red. Just being rushed the whole time was the snowball that started a meh experience for me. They also don’t have their ducks in a row in regards to the waivers. I filled them out correctly the first time for myself and my other party members but in total they sent me the same email with the same waiver 6-8 times to the point where it was quite annoying. The “coral” had bleached and died off to the point where I saw 3 small little fish and a sea fern or two. I really think this portion of the trip should be removed due to dead coral and lack of fish. We booked the combo snorkel and beach day trip.
The last thing I’d like to add is that the ladder on the boat to get out of the water needs one more rung. The boat should also be open outdoor seating to help fight seasickness. The staff seemed more focused on the young scum of the earth instagram influencers compared to the rest of us and it just was not what I thought it would be.

Our trip to Culebra was on a somewhat rough day with swells in the 3 foot range. It is an hour in open ocean and the catamaran was stable as we sat inside on padded benches. We snorkeled at a small reef area that had a lot of diverse fish. The coral was in bad shape but there was a lot of new coral growing in the area. Then we went to Culebrita to play in the waves and sand.
Our crew leader, Jaylen, was friendly and attentive. She provided an excellent spread of cold cuts, and salads for lunch to go with the rum drinks.
I had hoped for a better coral reef but the location was nice and safe.

I’ve been on many excursions in my life, but the employees on our boat were by far the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever had! Miguel, Orlando, and Amanda did a great job! We were so thankful that we were able to go out to Culebra despite choppy waters and that our crew was able to navigate to a beach that was protected from the wind.
