As you cruise on the upper Zambezi River, you will also see the mist rising up from the magical Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. The Zambezi's most noted feature is Victoria Falls.

This park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the park. If you are lucky you might come across animals such as hippos, elephant, crocodiles, kudus as you cruise on the Zambezi River.

The trip was great from start to finish. The servers are excellent, food is delicious, and views stunning. You will stay on the water long enough to view sunset, and with a little luck get to get up close with some wildlife. We were able to see elephants, giraffes, and hippos.

If you are in Victoria Falls, just do it! We arrived on our 36th Anniversary and, at the suggestion of our host, spent the evening on the dinner cruise. It was perfect. The food was good, the service friendly and the whole experience enhanced by the sight of crocodiles, hippos and many birds. After watching the sunset, we finished the meal while drifting in the river. So peaceful. So romantic.

A very peaceful and memorable experience that was well presented and hosted. The service was top class and friendly and the food was excellent. We had a wonderful evening and left with many memories to treasure.

I can’t recommend this dinner cruise enough! We had incredible views of hippos, birds, and crocodiles while enjoying some excellent food. The wine selection was pretty good, and the other alcohol was great too.

Fabulous sunset, delicious 5 course meal, and best gin bar ! Scenery spectacular - lots of hippo and the odd croc. Well worth the fare!
