Have a glance on how big the Douro Valley is, by crossing some of its tributaries.
Pass By: Serra do Marao, Portugal
You will witness the greatness of this mountains and will cross them by a long tunnel.
Stop At: Ponte Pedonal Metalica de Peso da Regua, Peso Da Regua Beside of N2 bridge Train, Peso Da Regua 5100-836 Portugal
You will have your first impression of the Douro by crossing this bridge while our guide will drive to pick you up at the other end of the bridge.

Stop At: Pinhao, Pinhao, Vila Real District, Northern Portugal
Have a look at the lovely and important for the Port Wine little village of Pinhão, with the Douro and some of the most famous Port Wine houses in the background

Spot the beautiful train station of Pinhão with its typical panels of tiles painted in blue.

Jean our guide was great and very knowledgeable! We enjoyed tasting port wine and other wines from the region and our lunch was delicious.

Hugo was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The wineries and boat were excellent & the vegetarian lunch option we had was delicious. So glad we went with a small tour group. It felt much more personalised and we couldn’t have had a better group of people. Highly recommend this tour, it couldn’t have been a better day! 10/10! Thanks Hugo!

A wonderful experience. Picked up by our guide, Jean, a Frenchman married to a Portuguesa we left Porto in a small group in a comfortable van. This allowed us to take the narrower roads and really appreciate the beautiful Duero valley. Plenty of good wine and port, a super river trip and a wonderful lunch: a marvelous day with everything smoothly managed by Jean.

Start to finish, this was an absolutely incredible experience. We were lucky enough to have Sara lead our group throughout the day. She is incredibly knowledgeable around the Duoro Valley and was able to answer all of our questions. In addition to this she was just generally one of the nicest people we’ve ever met.
The tour itself was stunning. Starting with a port wine tasting, a beautiful river view, and mountains of vineyards surrounding us.
We then made our way to a boat tour with the friendliest staff. Hugo was fantastic and funny and really added to the experience.
The meal and wine tasting at the end was the peak of the day. The staff was truly incredible, probably the happiest and nicest people that we’ve ever interacted with. I really can’t describe this experience and do it justice. This was an unforgettable day and I would recommend it to anyone who wants more than just a wine tour.

Our trip to the scenic Douro Valley was awesome! We were hoping to have Hugo lead our tour with all of his positive reviews, but instead had the wonderful, affable Sergio who did not disappoint! Sergio was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, not to mention an excellent driver on the hairpin roads we took in the valley. Sergio even let me help program the drivetime music and we shared our love of bands along the route.
The wines we sampled were all excellent and it flowed generously. The boat tour, featuring an English-speaking local guide, was beautiful, and finally, the homemade food was tasty and plentiful. Did I mention the free-flowing wine?! We highly recommend this trip.

We had the most incredible tour to the Douro Valley! With the stops just for pictures, the AMAZING food at lunch, the multiple wine tastings, and the boat tour, this experience was more than worth the money. Ricardo was the most gracious, fun, and engaging tour guide and knew all the secret spots. He was the cherry on top of our day!

Great tour of the Douro region with our excellent guide, Hugo! He is very knowledgeable of the region and the ports and wines made there. We had a great time with the small group we traveled with. The food, port and wines were excellent as were all of the locations we visited. Highly recommended!

I don’t say this lightly - but this was probably one of my favourite days/trips ever.
Sara was our guide, and she was incredible. Knowledgeable, warm, kind, helpful and generous. And a very, very good driver, in some incredibly trying road conditions.
The views were unbelievable, the wine was amazing, the group was small and friendly, and the different stops we made were so, so well considered and magical. We honestly couldn’t have had a better time. Book it, you won’t regret it.

Hugo was an excellent, fun, knowledgeable guide. A competent driver. Small van so a private experience.
We learned so much, toured beautiful vineyards and had the most amazing lunch :) highlight of our trip to Porto. Would recommend
