After meeting with your tour guide, leave from Porto, and travel to the beautiful Douro Valley in a comfortable climatized vehicle.
Stop At: 5100 Lamego, Portugal
After the first stretch of the journey and having arrived to the Douro Valley, we will be visiting a small family owned vineyard, with a wine tasting of their own production.
Here we will have a commented wine tasting we will also enjoy some wonderfull views of the terraced hills that make the Douro Valley so unique.

Pass By: Douro River, Porto Portugal
After the first winery, enjoy a scenic drive through the world famous National Road 222, to the heart of the Douro Valley, the beautifull village of Pinhão.
Stop At: Pinhao, Pinhao, Vila Real District, Northern Portugal
In Pinhão we will embark on the unique experience of doing a short 1 hour river cruise, to soak in the beautiful landscape while admiring the terraced hills with the quintessential vineyards and estates that turn the margins of the Douro River into a true "Geologic Poem"

After the scenic cruise it´s time to drive up the hills, through the windy Douro roads and get on our way to Sabrosa, for lunch.
It´s time to discover more of what the Douro Valley has to offer and to enjoy the breathtaking views from up the mountains.
Stop At: Sabrosa, Sabrosa, Vila Real District, Northern Portugal
In Sabrosa we will stop at another family owned winery, where we will have a traditional portuguese lunch complete with 4 courses, entrance, salad, main dish and dessert, all paired with their delicious Douro red and white wine.
For the grande finale we will visit their cellar where we will try some of their fantastic ports.
After a full day of exploration and discovery, relax and enjoy your journey back to Porto.

Pick ups will be between 8:30 - 9:00 am. We will contact customers by message (trough the App) with final details.
Be aware that we need confirmation of every customer regarding the meeting point and pick up hour, when we send the message through the App. If you will not answer through the App, we will try to reach you by phone.
Please make sure your number is correct. We normally try WhatsApp first and then we call if we don't have an answer.

The day before the tour, you will receive the exact pickup details regarding pickup, meeting point and time;
Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
This tour has two different options, with or without hotel pick up. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the Small Group with hotel pick up option, this tour will be done on a minivan and a group of up to 8 people;
For the ones that choose hotel pick-up, if your accomodation is not in a very easy to reach location, we might ask you to meet us at a close by location;
Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
For lunch we provide meet, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.
We do tours all year round, in the winter it is cold and in the summer it's hot, please dress appropriately
There is not much walking involved, but please bring comfortable shoes;
Don´t forget to bring your camera with you!
This tour last around 9 hours, but it´s subject to local traffic conditions or visit schedules;
Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
The order of the tour or partners visit are subject to change depending on availability;
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 46 travelers

Easy and on-time pick up and drop off. Beautiful drive and got to spend time at two great vineyards trying wine and port. Our tour guide was Paolo was very nice but talked way too much. Obviously it was great to hear what he had to say about Porto and what we were seeing - but he never really stopped talking during the 10 hours we were together.

Excellent trip. Guide (Sarah) was fantastic - good blend of history, humor, and knowing when to be silent. Both vineyards were spectacular. Scenery is gorgeous. Bus driver was excellent maneuvering on the tight roads. All in all, we highly recommend this tour.

Rita our tour guide was great. She was energetic, knowledgeable., funny and really wanted everyone to have a great day. Thorougly enjoyed the wineries and river cruise. The lunch was delicious too. Much better than ecpected.

My friend and I truly enjoyed this tour. The wines were excellent and the company even better. Our tour guide Rita was good. Very witty. I felt a little rushed at Sabrosa where I would have liked to purchase the port wine. A great value

What an amazing day! The views were spectacular and each stop was better than the next! Both wineries had great offerings with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. The boat ride was spectacular. The bus was extremely comfortable for the rides to and from. Our guide kept us informed and entertained throughout. Highly recommend!

Douro valley was stunning. Was interesting to see some old roads, bridges, terraces built by Romans and still used up to these days. Combination of history and nature.
Our guide Joao was very enthusiastic and a true proud patriot of his country.

Sarah the tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly and accommodating. The first winery was excellent with great lunch. The second Quinta was a little stingy with wine servings. The amount of wine was not enough. Had a great time!!!
